      Back when I lived in Texas, I used fish emulsion on a single sweet potato plant, which ended up yielding 25 lbs of sweet potatoes!! So we thought we’d give’er a go here too!
      These beds are looking great & our little seedlings are starting to sprout! We’ll show an update in a future video 😁
      Thanks for watching!

    Was wondering if you plan on building a root cellular to store all your hard work in?

    • @BEAdventurePartners
      @BEAdventurePartners  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very good question! We do have storage plans and you’ll have to stay tuned to see what we end up doing!

    Root veggies prefer cooler weather, so they may not take off for a month or two, but when they do...! 🥕🥕

      Good to know @The Urban Third Homestead! Would you throw down more seed in the late summer once it starts to cool also?

    • @theurbanthirdhomestead
      @theurbanthirdhomestead 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely! They'll even survive the first frost or two. Carrots, radishes, beets, kale... My sister and I were just looking at property in the north Arkansas Ozark area. It's sooo beautiful there! 😍

    Hows the ticks there ! And I've heard there is a pretty big population of wild pigs in that area , UNLESS IM WRONG ABOUT WHERE YOU ARE ! I just read of a herb that repels ticks is why I'm asking Problem is i cant remember what it is,,and believe me here in West Virginia the ticks are awful

    • @BEAdventurePartners
      @BEAdventurePartners  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha @Steven Annett, the ticks are plentiful here. If you remember the herb please do share. We will experiment with it! We get ticks on us, and each of us has had one latch on... But that's it. I got a bite on my neck several weeks ago, and it's still healing up. I wonder if we eat too much garlic for them?! I feel them crawling on me, and get them before they have a chance to get me. We haven't come across wild pigs yet. Wonder if they are a good snack?! Hope you are enjoying the summer. Great to hear from you!

    Its not Dirt its Soil!

    • @BEAdventurePartners
      @BEAdventurePartners  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol mind our curse words @Yvonne Roy! Some of the super rocky clay stuff… I’d call dirt. But we are making soil! Maybe if we stop calling it dirt, and call it soil we can will better soil into our experience sooner! Heh thanks for bringing that to our attention. Gotta keep raising that vibration everyday!
