There's nothing to be ashamed of for taking medication. Taking medication in order to be able to function in your everyday life (if necessary) is an indication that you respect your soul's well-being 😊
I'm glad he is comfortable enough to go public about his feelings. When he said "I may be the only human that feels this way", that really put it all into perspective. I hope one day that he won't feel alone. I hope he does what he loves, even if that ever meant retiring from the public eye. I hope he knows that his fans aren't selfish, aren't shallow, & don't expect grand things from him. We expect him to he himself, whatever that is. We will always love him for it. I am a fan for quite a long time now but seeing him talk so freely about his struggles is so liberating. How he talks about depression as a friend to accept how he portrays his struggles in his music is... I have no words for that. It's frightening because he rly displays what some of us feel so often...

The second I hear the panic attack-gasping from Hikikomori or the screaming/crying laughter = instant flood of tears and pain. You can feel his anguish through the whole track and that’s not even touching on the music video. In a world full of idols worshipped for their looks first and everything else much later (whether people can admit it to themselves or not), he isn’t just a breath of fresh air, he *IS* the fresh air. Yeah, he’s attractive as hell, but he could look like a damn potato and I’d still be just as moved as I am listening to his music. He’s about as real as it gets.

✨✨ he is such a sweet human ✨✨ i've been to his budapest concert, i found out about yongguk just few weeks before his debut solo album, but i fell in love w/his artistry and what kind of human he is, the way he expresses himself, just everything, it was one of the best concerts i've attended, i cried, was shy because of his body rolls, screamed and jumped and i was so hyped. i'm glad i stumbled upon this interview, because it was hard for me to find them, thanks for uploading 💫 and it's also important for me to hear him talk openly about his medication, because recently i've started taking medications too and although i am not shy to tell my friends i can't imagine telling it to thousands of people.
