This is the first video I've come across that actually teaches the basic modeling aspects. Thankyou so much for this easy tutorial and teaching all the components of Cinema 4D.
ive watched this tutorial many times it's just so easy to follow and understand that's a true beginner tuturial for us to comprehend evey use of every tool there thank you
well...this was one of the best Tutorials regarding basic modelling i´ve found on youtube. Many many many thanks for that. I´d absolutely love it, if you would produce more vids of this kind...a rubber duck, a frog.....something similiar to learn the basics
매우 유익한 영상이네요!! 몰랐던 기능들을 알게 돼서 너무 좋아요 좋은 영상 만들어주셔서 감사합니다 :D That's a very informative video!! I'm so happy that I got to know the functions that I didn't know Thank you for making a good video :D
thanks so much!❤🙏 amazing tutorial and all is pretty clear. after i learn Blender about 6 month or more, i think about change it for Cinema 4D. they say Blender is easier, but thats not true. u showed it in this tutorial
why i can’t see polygons smooth and shaped (the blue lines)? they are very sharp and squared, as when the subdivision is off, it’s especially hard to texturise because piggie’s nostrils are smooth but the polygon selection is squared and i can’t select internal polygons properly 😭😭
Make sure you are on the move tool and have nothing selected. Then left click anywhere except the object and hold down “3” and move your mouse to rotate. You can also use the rotate tool at the top right of the window, but this was 3 months ago so I’m guessing you figured it out lol
Slow down bro, it says beginner. LOL I think you're glossing over some hotkeys too. For example, like how you view your selection on the subdivision surface versus the "cage" view.
People say I go to slow you say too fast 🥴 😂 tried to explain all the relevant hot keys and settings - the setting you are mentioning I show how to turn on to be able to view the isoline editing nodes and all that 👌
@@eyedesyn around 6 min mark, you did something that outer wireframe disappeared but you haven't baked the subdiv to smooth yet. How did you do it? I could follow the same step but I am selecting from rougher wireframe over the smooth polygon instead of actually selecting the faces of the smooth polygon

This is the first day I watched a C4D tutorial, which captivated me from start to finish. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Best tutorial video ive seen. Thanks man!
I was freaking out with this piglet, but it was really helpful. After 2 cinema openings, I already feel not so lost. Thank you🤗
That's so awesome to hear, glad this is helping you get comfy in 3D!!!
It's amazing how complicated it is to mirror an object in Cinema 4d vs how easy you can do it in Blender. Thanks for the tutorial!
You have also Symmetry modifier, it's much more easier
Thank you for this. It's a really gentle but thorough and full tutorial. I'm really enjoying the progress I'm making. Thank you
Amazing tutorial, as always! More modeling please, they're so much fun!
Thanks for the kind words and the comment - I'll for sure do more modeling tuts in the future :)
thank youuuu this made the modelling process so fun and easy!

Awesome tutorial, great topology!
Thanks so much! Wow this is incredible to hear coming from the 3D modeling master himself!!!!
@@eyedesyn Aw thank you, that’s really kind of you to say!

OH wow a person who switched from Blender to C4D? Nice! Happy to show you what's possible and let you make your own choice!
why i can’t see polygons smooth and shaped (the blue lines)?
they are very sharp and squared, as when the subdivision is off, it’s especially hard to texturise because piggie’s nostrils are smooth but the polygon selection is squared and i can’t select internal polygons properly 😭😭
I was having the same problem and I did some digging - go to “options” then turn on “isoline editing” or tap Alt-A :)
@@norahfinch949 thank you, kind internet dude! :)
double thanks@@norahfinch949
Thanks!:))
thx!
Very welcome!
Awesome as always EJ!
Now let's rig it!! :D
Oh yeah! Let's do it! hehehe!
Cant understand how you make it flat at 2:34 could you help me?
can't find the global symmetry option for the life of me but otherwise easy to follow along and good modeling intro!
Are you on the latest version of C4D? It's a fairly new feature! And thanks for watching!
Nice tutorial. 👍👍
Thanks glad you enjoyed it!
How do you rotate the circle object at 1:12? When I try rotaing it distort all the shapes

@eyedesyn I think you got the chapters wrong, it is showing the pyro tutorial ones
Weird its looking OK on my end! let me know if its updated on yours as well! thanks for the heads up tho!
@@eyedesynlooks like it's correct now!

this is exactly what I get confused T T thank u for mentioning this!!
Ngl I am lost too on the first part of this video
How are you selecting Lines when you Press Q key?
what is fit circle in r23?
Wondering the same thing for r25
I demand more Gus
hahaha i agree!!!!
What up GUS!!!
Woof woof!!!!! 🐶
I do not have the "fit circle" option.
Thank you for tutorial. E J
Very welcome!! 🙏🙏🙏
when i try to use symmetrize it only works in x, cant make z work. Could it be that the legs are quite centered?
GUS!🐾🐾
Great!
Thanks for watching!!!
My symmetrize tool doesn't work the same way yours does and I fell off after the first leg lol
Sir .. fit circle option is not in my cinema 4d option where can I find it? I did right click and it didn’t show up
Hi! I have a question. Once I create a model on c4D I'm unable to move it within the scene. Do you know why this is happening?
How do you get the cube? I'm clicking on anything square or cubaloid and can't find the cube maker thingy thing.
Huh whuuuttt
My interface doesn't have thay "fit circle" does anyone knows where is it in the 2025.0 version? I can't find it 😭😭😭
Oh no, it's not in the modeling pop up?
So cute
🙏🙏🙏🐷
Me encantó tuy perrito.... que perrito tan bonito !!!! y se ve chevere con el chaleco que tiene puesto. ¿Qué raza es este perrito está muy bonito?
Thank you! :) He is a pug!
Hey. Thanks a lot for the video. Love it. I've got a question. May I creat one part of a pig and then symmetry it? Would it make any difference ?
Yes you can!
someone help, symmetrize is not working at all, it keeps mirroring the body even though its not selected. I desperately need tips!!!!
Do you mean it's affecting both sides when the Mirror is off?
What to do if I don't have "fit circle" in the drop down menu?
That is a relatively new feature so you just need to upgrade to a recent version!
hi bro why can I only add a cube on the side panel? when I see you added a cube you had other shapes and stuff I only jhave a cube help pls
Click on cube and hold
@@Pathfinder_tua Thanks so much sir
I can't find the fit circle tool
Me either
I can't find it in Cinema R21 "fit circle"((((
I can’t find it either
How do you fit circle in r21?
Well, you can't lol its a feature that was added to C4D in version 2023
hi first to see this.
Hello!
@@eyedesyn oh i got reply from your side. How big it is.
well this is frustrating. I press C key and the whole thing disappears. I just literally downloaded and started c4d.. why is this happening
Sorry you’re having an issue! Make sure you’re hitting the C key on the right object
