I never thought Rampage was evil by design. I think they broke him. They broke his spark, and his mind. One can only take so much before they snap, and Rampage snapped. He has shown compassion in the show, and this comic really shows he's not this evil dark beast, but a broken soul just wanting to live his life free of pain.
In Beast Wars show Transmutate was the closest thing to a friend that the cannibal Rampage could've called a friend but in this comic it's obvious that her incarnation of the character is Protoform X/Rampage's soulmate or Sparkmate in this case which I actually like in my opinion a psychologically twisted character like Rampage needs a lover with similar traits but less murderous personality likes Transmutate

I didn't really get a chance to state that in the video since this video was very rushed due to time constraints to upload this on my weekly schedule.

I like to start off by stating that I have no idea at what point did I say I hate or dislike gears of war or starwars hell their both my favorite franchises before Halo and whilst I do agree that stories have to do more than just shooting like in doom or Halo but for me personally I just don't like romance, I don't know what it is but it's just something I'm not grown attached to and yes I am aware of the romance between buck and dare in h3 odst but theres just something about it that I just shrugged it off, maybe it's because it's not heavily centred or because I mainly played as my odst "the rookie" I know most of this stuff just sounds weird but even as I type this I myself find it weird as to what it is I'm typing. I still stay by my opinion and I'd like to thank you for respecting but overall I just don't like it. and yeah Halo 5's story sucks and there's no way around it.
