27, February 2012 I was at work and I died twice that night from a heart attack. When I left this Earth there was an angel that had me underneath each arm. We were going so fast that the stars looked like lines. Almost like hen in space movies they go really fast. I saw a light ahead and I wanted to look over at the angels but I knew what that light was and the source of that light, and I couldn’t take my eyes off of it. We came to what looked to be a wall of the most beautiful white clouds. I knew Jesus was on the other side of the wall. When we burst through the other side I saw Jesus riding the most beautiful white horse I have ever seen. He was riding really fast from my right to my left. We were still going forward but slower now. We were going on about a 45 degree angle to intercept Jesus. He held out His left hand and said that it wasn’t my time yet. Instantly we went backwards through the white wall. We must have turned around inside of the cloud because when we came back out into space we were going head first. This happened to me a second time. I have no idea how much time had passed between the two experiences. But when I came back into my body the second time I braced for the pain to hit. Because I remembered not expecting the pain of this body the first time! Trust me, there IS a God! And when we leave this world, that is just the beginning of our lives! I want on my tombstone Born or began Earthly life. Instead of death I want, Began Eternal Life on whatever day that happens to be!

Jesus said “All who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth” (John 5:28, 29).
“David … is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. … For David did not ascend into the heavens” (Acts 2:29, 34).
“If I wait, the grave is mine house” (Job 17:13 KJV). People do not go to heaven or to hell at death. They don’t go anywhere-but they wait in their graves for the first or second resurrection.

May the Lord return soon! Amen. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! Believe and trust in the Lord, you will be saved. Period. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. We give up our earthly dreams, our fleshly desires. What the enemy offers is short lived, but heaven is forever! Life may seem or be unfair, but God is with you! Always remember that. Things may get better or worse for you, but a kingdom awaits you! Finish the race! Repent daily and carry your cross. This world is fading fast. Your troubles are temporary! New channel here, I’d appreciate any kind of support. Don’t give up! God loves you so much! So do I. The Lord bless you!

Jesus said, no one has ascended to heaven ...
Understanding Jesus words, it help us to understand Paul meaning.
Jesus said to Nicodemus: ? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. Verily, verily,
I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not,
how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things. John 3: 11-13
Paul support Jesus and said , But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep in the Lord, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 1 Thessalonians 4:13,14

Having died in a carwreck, I can tell you what I experienced.. I was immediately in spirit, and aware I was free of my body. I soared through the air at will and headed home to heaven. Heaven is a journey from earth. An angel kept blocking my path. He , with love kept telling me I could not leave yet. He kept blocking my path. I wrestled him trying to leave the earth and return to heaven. This wrestling went on for some time. Finally he stepped aside and said , if you leave today you won't like the outcome, as your redemption isn't completed yet.
All sin was cast from heaven, no sin returns. Redemption removes all sin from our spirit so it can return to heaven for service to the father.
We are the fallen. Only the fallen know sin, and are not in heaven at this moment. Only the fallen can be redeemed.. we were cast from heaven, for our adulterous actions with satan. we are here on earth with Satan, cause we turned from God and worshipped Satan. When did you accept sin and Satan into your spirit..think about it..
Jesus brought the cure for sin from heaven to earth. The cross bearing witness the cure works. Only a sinless man could willingly go to the cross..

After reading your testimony, some people will have to make a decision. Do they reject everything that God has in His word about life and death to believe what you say, or do they take God's word over yours. I'm sorry my friend, but you just contradicted what the Bible says about life, death, redemption and the forgiveness of sin all through that testimony. I understand that we have learned these erroneous ideas and false doctrines by tradition and misapplied them to the Bible, but the onus is on you to search the scriptures for the truth, rather than accept the lies that the world calls truth.

      Alan,
We are all victims of tradition, brother. I realize that what I am presenting to you in this post is a bit lengthy, but it was necessary in order to show you something. Please take the few minutes that it will take to read it all the way through. Thank you, sir.
By default, because of religious tradition, Christians will quote the same few misinterpreted Bible verses to support their beliefs about the state of the dead. We have all been born into this religious tradition, so in that respect it is not our fault. However, it is our fault if we do not verify our beliefs with ALL the Bible has to say concerning that belief.
Most of the confusion of what happens to us when we die comes from this traditional error and even some pagan beliefs that have been allowed to come into the church throughout the ages. Your grandfather, grandmother, mother, or father may have been taught to believe this way so they, in turn, passed these teachings on to you by tradition. After all, it seems that everyone believes theses traditionally taught doctrines, so it must be true, or is it? I will point out that history proves that the majority has never been on the right side of God's word. Apart from what we have inherited through tradition, some have simply misinterpreted the scriptures by personal mistranslation or because the original translators of the Bible made mistakes in punctuation.
Let’s look at the well-known scripture about the “thief on the cross” that you referred to.
Although mentioned in all four of the gospels, Luke is the only one who gives mention of the conversation between our Lord Jesus and the thief on the cross.
“One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying, “Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!”
But the other answered, and rebuking him said, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.” And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!”
And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:39-43)
Most of us know that the Bible was not originally written in chapters and verses, or even punctuated for that matter. That’s where the problem is with this verse of scripture. It’s not the words written that are incorrect, it’s the punctuation. Please let me show you what I mean.
The Bible was divided into verses and chapters for easy reference, thank God! Otherwise, it would be a nightmare trying to find a desired scripture passage to use to teach a doctrine. Though the people who completed this task were very well educated and capable of translating languages, they were human none the less, and susceptible to making mistakes.
If we look at the scripture in Luke 23:43 it appears to say that Jesus is telling the thief on the cross that he (the thief) will be in Paradise with Him (Jesus) that same day that they died, however, we need to examine this scripture a little closer to establish the truth.
The original Greek scriptures were not divided into verses or chapters AND they were not punctuated. In fact, there weren’t even any spaces between the words. And there was another language hurdle they had to overcome. There were no lowercase letters. Everything was written in capitals. Separating the text must have been very difficult and tiresome.
This is what this verse would have looked like if translated in English:
      “TRULYISAYTOYOUTODAYYOUSHALLBEWITHMEINPARADISE”
The Bible tells us that we are not supposed to add anything or take away from the things written therein. Well, the commas and other punctuation were added. Now, of course I don’t think that it was sacrilege to separate the word of God into chapters and verses for easy reference or to add punctuation to them, but I do know that the placement of a comma can absolutely change the context of a sentence.
If we read this scripture as it is punctuated now, it reads:
"Truly, I say to you (comma) today you shall be with Me in Paradise."
Written this way, it does in fact appear to be saying that Jesus is telling the thief that they will be in Paradise (Heaven) together on that day. When writing a letter, email or text we often make a mistake and misplace a comma, sometimes changing what we actually meant to say. That is what has happened here, as you will see. Look what happens when we move the comma one word to the right.
"Truly, I say to you today (comma) you shall be with Me in Paradise."
Now it reads like it should. And it can be proven with scripture that this is, in fact, the correct placement of the comma.
Jesus is actually saying that “Truly, I’m telling you this day, you will be with Me in paradise”. I know that you may be thinking that I’m taking liberties with the Word of God that I shouldn’t be taking, but what I’m telling you must be true or else Jesus is a liar, and we all know that is not true. Once again, let me explain.
Let’s look at the scripture in the book of John chapter 20 verse 1 and then verse 17 when Mary Magdalene visited the tomb of Jesus after He had risen.
“The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulcher.” (John 20-1)
“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am NOT YET ASCENDED to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.” (John 20-17)
As you can see, this is two days after Jesus and the thief on the cross had their conversation and died. Jesus says to Mary Magdalene that He has not yet been to Heaven, so how could He have promised the theif that they would be together in Heaven on the day that they died?
This is scriptural proof from Jesus’ own lips that the comma in Luke 23:43 must be misplaced. Jesus can’t lie, so He couldn’t have told the thief on the cross that he would go to Heaven that day. He was only proclaiming to him that day that he would join Jesus in Paradise WHEN He came into His Kingdom upon His return.
Please consider this verse of scripture also, concerning King David, the patriarch.
“Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of THE PATRIARCH DAVID, THAT HE IS BOTH DEAD AND BURIED, AND HIS SEPULCHRE (grave) IS WITH US TO THIS DAY….
…FOR DAVID IS NOT ASCENDED INTO THE HEAVENS: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Until I make thy foes thy footstool.”
      Acts 2:29, 34 & 35
If King David, the great patriarch, referred to as a “Man after God’s own heart” has not yet ascended into Heaven, then how can we possibly assume that we will ascend into Heaven when we die, experiencing what King David has not yet experienced?
Brother, for the past 27 years I have search the scriptures diligently for every scripture related to death, dying, the soul, ghost, spirit, breath, the grave, hell, the last day, the resurrection and anything else that I could find that was pertinent to the teaching and the doctrines concerning the state of the dead.
I have compiled 53 PAGES of scriptures (scores of them) that says you do not go to Heaven when you die, but instead “sleep” (are dead) in the grave until the resurrection. And on a regular basis, I stumble across more scriptures that support that belief.
The coming of Christ Jesus and the resurrection to eternal life is our blessed hope. We Jesus comes for us; it will be as though we just went to sleep and are being awakened the next morning.
HERE IS JUST ONE MORE THING TO PONDER. The Bible gives record of four individuals who HAVE ascended into Heaven, which are Enoch, Elijah, Moses and Jesus. Two were caught up (changed in the moment, in the twinkling of an eye) and two were resurrected (and changed) and taken up. Which one of them went to Heaven without their body?
I hope this makes some sense brother.
      May God bless you!

@M4RT1S If you have never received the Lord Jesus Christ then do so. Read John 1 v 1 to 14 @ 10 to 14. You can talk to the Lord Jesus Christ right away and tell Him you believe in Who He (God the Son so Son of God the Father ) is and what He did on the cross for you! He died for your sins so that you will not be punished for them by God Almighty the Father. Jesus Christ resurrected from death and is alive to give you eternal life and victory over sins and all the troubles of life! Ask Him to enter your heart and life to be your Savior and Lord! If you do this you will be a Born Again Christian by Faith in Jesus Christ and be saved by His Grace. If you are already a Born Again Christian but you have sinned confess your sins to God Almighty ask Him to forgive you and cleanse you with the Blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and give you the strength to live for His glory! Our body is the vessel that carries our soul, its our lives essence
    It's what makes us whole.
We feed our bodies every night
But food for our souls only comes
    from The Light.
Then when our souls earthly work is done we are called home to The Light from whence we come. 🙏

Three days later He told Mary not to cling to Him because He had not yet been to the Father. Either Yeshua lied or the translators put the coma in the wrong place. Since I don't believe that Yeshua lied and the original text doesn't have comas, I believe that the translators put the coma in the wrong place. If Yeshua isn't a liar, the thief is still in the grave but will be in paradise.

The unknown can be a scary thought to think about but when our mind is grounded on the foundation of Jesus, there is no need to be scared of the unknown. Even though we do not see Jesus face to face that He would reassure us in person of His promise, we surely can be rested because His Holy Spirit lives in believers. When we chose to believe Jesus is the Saviour, that His gospel for salvation is the truth, that His sacrifice for us on the cross was fulfilled by Him to cleanse us of our sin once and forever, He then gave His Holy Spirit to live in us and His Holy Spirit is the Comforter; Jesus in Spirit.
Yea, each one of us are at different places in our walk with Christ and His plans for each one of us differs one from another. We can not compare ourselves with brethren in Christ cause we all grow at a different pace and Jesus knows exactly what each child of His needs to grow. Fear can effect us all differently but to trust Jesus is to put our life in His hands and for His will being done as He grows our heart to know He is not about fear cause He is the Spirit of truth and with Jesus as our Saviour, there is comfort. The hard part is trusting Jesus even when our eyes or heart tells us that everything is a struggle and tries to fill us with fear yet all we really have is to keep putting everything at His feet and not compare our lives with our brethren in Christ. Being patient is hard but with time it gets easier cause Jesus feeds us spiritually, even though we do not see Him doing so, He truly is growing us with each day that goes by.
Satan and his angles are out and about roaming the world, always trying to trick us by whispering lies and one of his worst lies is to get us to look to ourselves instead of looking to Christ. The serpent Satan knows that if he can trick us to look to ourselves, that is when we fall the hardest and as the fall takes place, Satan is right there to whispers more of his lies to discourage and get us to fear and the spiral of doubt kicks in. The truth is that Satan has no power other than to whisper his lies, which in a sense can be powerful, that is if we take our mind off of Christ but when we think about it, what is a whispering lie, nothing but suggestions that try to creep into our mind but as for Satan having touching power, he does not.
God does allow Satan to touch our lives at times like He allowed to happen with Job in the Bible, though Jesus already had His plans of victor set in place for Job and He knew that it would bless Job in the long run and not only that but be a testimony for us, as are so many story's from the Bible.
Anyhow, kind of got off subject, though please try to remember that the gospel of Jesus is power, cause His Holy Spirit which dwell in us believers is Jesus Himself being in us, with us, before us, and all around us that everything in our lives would be in His hands, even when aches and trials come or are present, yet Jesus never leaves us His children. Even though we may not feel Jesus being with us, He surely is and His plans of victory are already in place and by His finished work on the cross, it also applies to our lives, He already finished what we can not do...all we have is to trust Him and be patient cause everything in Christ works out for our good and for His glory.
Meditating on Jesus' gospel, what He did for us, saving us, wiping away our sin debt, meditating not like the world meditation but more like reminding ourselves of His grace, that is so powerful and the more we get used to doing so, the easier it becomes as Jesus is eagerly wanting to show us how much He loves that we think about Him and His love for us.
Prayers for you sis and your loved ones and please pray for mine as well...the trials are great, especially for one of my brothers whom really is in a tough spot But Jesus surely is with His children and all we can do is pray for one another and the body of Christ, and foremost Jesus being the way maker that His strength to keep moving forward is set upon us daily. ❤

The fear of death is reasonable when you consider Matthew 7:13-14. The way to life is difficult and few find it.
Also Matthew 7:21-23, Yeshua rejects people who believe that they are saved. He rejects them because they were lawless.
1 John 3:4 defines sin as lawlessness.
Matthew 5:17-18, Yeshua clearly said that the law will not change even the slightest.
Many people think that all we need to do is just believe in Him to be saved but they don't believe everything He says and choose to believe what they mistakenly think Paul said. 2 Peter 3:16.
Use that fear to search the truth.

Demons pretend to be dead spirits of loved ones who have dead, aliens and all sorts of creatures to mislead us. The Bible's teaching on death is consistent, not confusing. There may be some surprises. But it's answers are reasonable, satisfying and best of all, comforting.
1.) How did Jesus referred to death?
    A. Sleep
These things He said, and after that He said to them, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.” Then His disciples said, “Lord, if he sleeps he will get well.” However, Jesus spoke of his death, but they thought that He was speaking about taking rest in sleep. Then Jesus said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead." (‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭11-14‬ NKJV)
2.) How does the Old Testament refer to death?
    A. Sleep
Then the LORD said to Moses, “Behold, the days approach when you must die; call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of meeting, that I may inaugurate him.” So Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves in the tabernacle of meeting. Now the LORD appeared at the tabernacle in a pillar of cloud, and the pillar of cloud stood above the door of the tabernacle. And the LORD said to Moses: “Behold, you will rest with your fathers; and this people will rise and play the harlot with the gods of the foreigners of the land, where they go to be among them, and they will forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them. (‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭31‬:‭14-16‬ NKJV)
“When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. (‭II Samuel‬ ‭7‬:‭12‬ NKJV)
3.) How did the New Testament writers understand the condition of death concerning the resurrection?
    A. Sleep until the resurrection
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. (‭I Thessalonians‬ ‭4‬:‭15-18‬ NKJV)
Note: Jesus does not touch the Earth when He comes during His second advent, He remains in the sky, in the clouds, and we meet Him in the air.
“For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption; (‭Acts‬ ‭13‬:‭36‬ NKJV)
4.) How did Daniel understand death and the resurrection in the Old Testament?
    A. Sleep until the resurrection
And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt. (‭Daniel‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ NKJV)
5.) What did Jesus teach regarding death and the resurrection?
    A. Rest in the grave until the resurrection
Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth- those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. (‭John‬ ‭5‬:‭28-29‬ NKJV)
    6.) Who alone is immortal?
    A. God
which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen. (‭I Timothy‬ ‭6‬:‭15-16‬ NKJV)
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. (‭I Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬ NKJV)
7.) How is man described compared to God?
    A. Mortal
and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man-and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. (‭Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭23‬ NKJV)
8.) At what point does man become immortal?
    A. At the second coming or resurrection
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed- in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” (‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭51-54‬ NKJV)
Note: The Bible describes death as a sleep over 50 times. In order to understand the condition of death or sleep/rest we must first understand the condition of life.
9.) What two elements does God combine to make man a living soul?
    A. Dust and God's breath of life
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. (‭Genesis‬ ‭2‬:‭7‬ NKJV)
10.) How is the process God used in creating a soul reversed when we die?
    A. When God's breath is taken away: they die and return to dust.
You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust. (‭Psalms‬ ‭104‬:‭29‬ NKJV)
    11.) Can a soul die?
    A. Yes
The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. (‭Ezekiel‬ ‭18‬:‭20‬ NKJV)
12.) When life ends, what is left?
    A. Dust
In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.” (‭Genesis‬ ‭3‬:‭19‬ NKJV)
13.) How does the Bible define life?
    A. Breath of God
As long as my breath is in me, And the breath of God in my nostrils, (‭Job‬ ‭27‬:‭3‬ NKJV)
14.) What happens when the breath returns to God?
    A. He dies or returns to dust
But man dies and is laid away; Indeed he breathes his last And where is he? As water disappears from the sea, And a river becomes parched and dries up, So man lies down and does not rise. Till the heavens are no more, They will not awake Nor be roused from their sleep. (‭Job‬ ‭14‬:‭10-12‬ NKJV)
Note: God did not put a living soul into Adam. Adam became a living soul as a result of the combination of the body plus the breath or spirit from God. When a lightbulb is connected to electricity, we get light. No one puts the light in the bulb. It is the result of the uniting those two components. When we take away the electricity, the light ceases to exist. According to the Bible, the soul is a combination of body plus breath, or spirit. When the breath (life force) or Spirit of God departs from the body, the soul ceases to exist.
    DUST + BREATH = SOUL
    SOUL - BREATH = DUST
15.) How much does man know during the time that he is dead?
    A. Nothing
For the living know that they will die; But the dead know nothing, And they have no more reward, For the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished; Nevermore will they have a share In anything done under the sun. (‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭9‬:‭5-6‬ NKJV)
16.) Can the dead praise God?
    A. No
The dead do not praise the LORD, Nor any who go down into silence. (‭Psalms‬ ‭115‬:‭17‬ NKJV)
17.) Can a dead person return to his house as a departed spirit or ghost?
    A. No
As the cloud disappears and vanishes away, So he who goes down to the grave does not come up. He shall never return to his house, Nor shall his place know him anymore. (‭Job‬ ‭7‬:‭9-10‬ NKJV)
Note: Many demons can produce miracles not least of which is impersonating dead loved ones. The story is told of an evangelist who preached on the state of death. Afterwards one of the people in the audience had an appearing of their wife who had died earlier. She had the same voice and mannerisms of his wife. Convinced of this Bible teaching, he told his wife to leave in the name of Jesus Christ and she disappeared and turned into a demon. There is truth only in God's word!!
CONCLUSION: So when a man dies he does not live somewhere else. He is not in heaven, not in hell, not in purgatory. He is not alive at all, anywhere, in any condition. He is in the state of sleep or unconsciousness. The dead rest quietly in their graves until Jesus comes. And when we stop to think it through, how could this be improved upon? As always, God has arranged what is best. Instead of permitting the departed one to look down from heaven and see the distress and grief his departing has caused; instead of allowing a departed husband or wife to see his spouse quickly transfer his love to another; instead of permitting parents to witness their children suffering through problems, Jesus has arranged death to be a short period of unconsciousness. There is no hardship in the departed one, for they are not conscious of passing time. They fall asleep and the next moment (so it seems) they awake and are reunited with their loved ones and Jesus.

You do err greatly in not knowing the truth . You misunderstand the the power if God. When an individual dies the spirit that God gave it returns to God. The body returns into the ground from whence it was taken and the soul goes to either heaven or hell. At the resurrection you spoke off is in regards to the body . It's easy to print out a lot of scriptures but if you interpret them wrong then you have erred greatly.

When we die we cease to exist temporarily until god calls us forth from the grave.

If when the righteous die they go to heaven. How is it Christ says, He has gone to prepare a place for the righteous and He will come again and receive them unto himself, that where He is they can be also. If righteous goes to heaven after death, how is it Jesus is coming to take them where He is when they are there already?
1 Corinthians 15:23 KJV - 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
    2 Timothy 4:8 KJV
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
It's clear from scripture it's at the 2nd coming of Christ the saints will go to heaven to live and reign with Christ for a 1000 years. Rev 20:4.

WHAT REALLY HAPPENS WHEN WE DIE?
The Bible says those who have died know nothing. That means we aren’t aware of the passage of time after death. We aren’t aware of what’s happening in the world.
Death is like a deep sleep. Your body and spirit rests as the breath of life-which makes body and soul one, and alive-has returned to God until the resurrection.
Whether you’ve lost a loved one or want to know what happens when you die, it’s a question that weighs on everyone’s mind at some point.
“For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished, and forever they have no more share in all that is done under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 9:5,6, ESV).
“and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it” (Ecclesiastes 12:7, ESV).
In the beginning God made man in the Garden of Eden from the dust of the earth. Then, He breathed the breath of life into Adam’s nostrils.
In that moment Adam became a living being.
“Then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature” (Genesis 2:7, ESV).
Notice the verse says Adam became a living creature when God breathed the breath of life into his nostrils. The King James Version says it this way:
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2:7, KJV).
Close-up of a woman's face with her eyes closed.
His breath is what made him a living soul - a living creature. When we die, we stop breathing and we rest. Nowhere in the Bible does it say the soul is separate from the body.
A soul is a living creature (see Genesis 2:7 above). A soul is the combination of a body plus the breath of life. The soul cannot exist without the body or the breath.
“…the body apart from the spirit is dead” (James 2:26, ESV).
“as long as my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils” (Job 27:3, ESV).
We can see this idea illustrated by looking at a light bulb. Without electricity, a light bulb has no light. In order to produce light, both the lightbulb and the electricity are needed. Similarly, the body has no life without the breath of God. Your soul is not a separate being.
Some religions or denominations teach other ideas about what happens when we die. For instance, some people believe in purgatory, reincarnation, immortality of the soul, the afterlife, etc.
It is important when looking at different ideas about the state of the dead to weigh each teaching according to the Bible.
“If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them” (Isaiah 8:20, NKJV).
The Bible says death is like a sleep and the dead know nothing. There is no need to worry about a loved one who has passed away. They are resting peacefully in the grave. They are not in pain. They are not somewhere else being tormented. They are simply waiting in the grave until Jesus comes back.

      There is no soul sleep.
You're right a dead body does not know anything.
      Why?
      Because it's dead.
      Not so for the soul.
We are three parted beings just like God.
We were made in his image and his likeness.
      God is
      Spirit - Breath
      Soul - Mind
      Body - Jesus Embodied
      We are
      Spirit
      Soul
      Body
All of which are separate according to scripture.
Genesis 35:17-18 (KJV) And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also.
And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Ben-oni: but his father called him Benjamin.
1 Kings 17:19-22 (KJV) And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed.
And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?
And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.
And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.
James 2:26 (KJV) For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Ecclesiastes 12:6 (KJV) Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
      All separate from each other.
Now how do we know that the soul of a person exists outside of the body? Let's see what the scriptures say.
Luke 16:19-25 (KJV) There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
      And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
This is not a parable because parables do not name names.
Jesus was showing us what happens to a believer and a non believer at death.
Death - separation of the body from the soul and spirit.
These people are clearly talking to each other after the separation of their soul from their bodies... including Abraham.
The wages on sin is death and Jesus paid it so why would believers die the death???
This is what Jesus told Martha when Lazarus died (body was sleep but not his soul...his soul was in the bossom of Abraham according to scripture)
John 11:23-26 (KJV) Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
After Jesus died for our sins death has no right to hold us because the payment for our sins was posted when he died.
      Scripture proves this.
Matthew 27:50-53 (KJV) Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
      And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
      No soul sleep!
      Who are these people????
Revelation 6:8-11 (KJV) And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
These are souls having a full conversation in heaven with God about vengeance.
Their bodies are in the grave but there souls are in heaven talking to the Lord.
Then he gave them white robes to put on!
How do you put a rob on a soul without a body???
A spiritual body! In heaven waiting for it's natural body to be resurrected incorruptible!!!
      Paul said it...
2 Corinthians 5:5-8 (KJV) Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
This is why Paul told the Thessalonians not to be ignorant.
      Ignorant of what??
      Death.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 (KJV) But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
When Jesus returns he will " Bring With Him" those souls who are with him.
Also Paul's and John's experience being caught up to heaven.
They did not know whether they were in the body or not Paul said God knows.
But we know flesh and blood cannot enter heaven so it has to be their souls.
It's just so much evidence that refutes the soul sleep in the grave.
Glory To The The Lamb of God!!!!

When Jesus died and was resurrected He holds the ALL keys to life and death. Jesus spoke of hell more than heaven because He warns us were we go when we die. The believer when they die go to rest until the day of the Lords return..that's why we say RIP but the evil man will go to hell and begin to suffer. With all due respect, you are deeply mistaken in your understanding of what happens to a spirit once the body has died. **Do not twist scripture**, it's written "I am He that liveth and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; **and I have the keys of Hell and of Death."** Revelation 1:18 KJV Before Jesus came to earth, believers in God "slept" but with His ascension to Heaven after the crucifixion it causes a person to be immediately brought to Him for judgment and/or salvation such as the story as the thief on the cross; "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, **Today shalt thou be with me in paradise."** Luke 23:43 KJV. The Second death is the official declaration of sentencing and erernal damnation at the Great White Throne Judgement, and cast into the Lake of Fire..**this IS the Second death** In ALL your arrogant and false pharisical comfort of your own understanding and not actually rightly dividing the Word of God, you are spreading a false doctrine of death about what really happens to salvational saints and perishing souls. Truly, once the last breath leaves the mortal flesh..the spirit will spend its eternity in Hell or in Heaven, Jesus has already raised those who slept before He gave His great sacrifice and gift to the world and Jesus IS the "First fruits".

The state of the dead according to the word of God.
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof *thou shalt surely die*
    {Genesis 2:17}
Man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?
    ...
So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their *sleep*
O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, *until thy wrath be past* that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait,
    👉till my change come.
    ...
His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them.
    {Job 14:10, 12-14 & 21}
And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my *flesh* shall I see God.
    {Job 19:26}
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
    {The Preacher 9:10}
Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
    {Psalm 146:3-4}
Then said his disciples, Lord, if he *sleep* he shall do well.
Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
Then said Jesus unto them plainly, "Lazarus is dead."
    {John 11:12-14}
    ...
Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection
    👉at the last day.
Jesus said unto her, "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet *shall* he live:"
    {John 11:24-25}
But go thou thy way till the end be: for *thou shalt rest* and stand in thy lot *at the end of the days*
    {Daniel 12:13}
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him *should not perish* but have everlasting life.
    {John 3:16}
And *the serpent said* unto the woman, *Ye shall not surely die*
    {Genesis 3:4}
Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down *in the midst of the stones of fire*
    {Isaiah 28:14}
    ^
satan always turns the tables on God, for he is the father of lies.
It is the upright who will walk in the midst of the stones of fire. Not those who will be cast into the lake of fire which os the second death.
If anyone errors in their understanding of this doctrine of the dead, then they will in no way be led to the understanding of the truth, for it will be a stumblingblock unto the decernment of spiritual things, including soilterology and eschatology.

Very thankful for this. However, something doesn't makes sense, to me. If DEATH and HADES, the REALM of DEATH is thrown into the LAKE of FIRE = DESTROYED, how could UNBELIEVERS suffer ETERNAL DAMNATION?
Second, Lazarus and the rich man are already rewarded/ punished, before JUDGMENT?
3rdly..I understand BREATH ( goes back to GOD), and BODY ( returned to Earth) . Where does SOUL comes from and goes where?
Animals go through the same process body desintegrates into the elements and breath expires, yes animals breathe. Between animals and us must be the SOUL.
But as someone said:animals have souls too...if you take a calf from a cow, she will cry....

Say it again we’ll said lol Jesus said “All who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth” (John 5:28, 29).

      @gettinreal7627 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brother Timothy,
You are right in saying that we cannot keep the commandments of God. That is because all we have is a sinful nature and the desires of the flesh, which cannot become subject to the law of God.
“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because THE CARNAL MIND is enmity (hostility) against God: FOR IT IS NOT SUBJECT TO THE LAW OF GOD, NEITHER INDEED CAN BE.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.” Romans 8:5-8
The only definition of sin in the Bible is this:
“Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: FOR SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW.” 1 John 3:4
Keep in mind that the word fulfill does not mean to destroy or make void. To fulfill means “to satisfy the requirements of” something.
Look what Jesus said on the sermon on the mount:
“THINK NOT THAT I HAVE COME TO DESTROY THE LAW, or the prophets: I AM NOT COME TO DESTROY, BUT TO FULFIL.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:17-20
Jesus said that He did not come to destroy the law but came to fulfill it. He meant that He came to satisfy the requirements of the law by overcoming the sinful nature. He did this by never sinning, so then He never transgressed the law. He conquered sin in the flesh for us.
Jesus was manifested in the likeness of sinful flesh for the very purpose of reversing the fall of Adam by overcoming the sinful nature.
“And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
Little children, LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, EVEN AS HE (Jesus) IS RIGHTEOUS.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:5-8
Now finally, read what Paul says is the reason why Jesus came.
"For THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE in Christ Jesus HATH MADE ME FREE FROM THE LAWS OF SIN AND DEATH.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, GOD SENDING HIS OWN SON IN THE LIKENESS OF SINFUL FLESH, AND FOR SIN, CONDEMNED SIN IN THE FLESH:
THAT THE RIGHTEOUSNESS IF THE LAW MIGHT BE FULFILLED IN US, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:2-4
Jesus condemned sin in the flesh. He killed it the sinful nature in the flesh. Now He wants us to let Him do it in us.
Do not listen to the lies of the devil that other people repeat to each other about how people are once a sinner and always a sinner. That is not true.
We always need to remember this truthful fact. The same power that resurrected Jesus from the dead is the same power that is available to us to help us overcome any and every sin. We cannot do it. But Christ in us can do it, because He has already done it in the flesh. He did not come to save us in our sin. He came to save us from our sin, and to break the chains that keep us in bondage, so that we can live free from sin by the power of the Holy Spirit in us.
Don’t listen to weak minded people who “have a form of godliness but lack the power thereof”. Listen to God’s word.
“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
      Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, IN THIS PRESENT WORLD;
      Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from ALL INIQUITY, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:11-14
God wants to redeem us in this present world from ALL iniquity. By the way, the word “iniquity” means “lawlessness. he wants to redeem us from our lawlessness.
The same Power that created the universe and everything in it is available to you. All you have to do is to connect your branch to His vine, so that He can give you the nourishing power that you need to thrive and bear good fruits. Submit to Him fully and He will do the rest.

Like The Apostle Paul wrote those that are saved when they die absent from the body in present with The LORD. God got the saved in a place of rest. They no neither the passage of time , nor the passing of the Days. The Saints are at rest and in peace in The LORD until God puts call them and puts them in there Resurrection New bodies. But until then , The Saints of God are resting and have nothing to worry about. But the Lost are not considered at rest since they are lost. Because God doesn't considered them at rest or at peace they are waiting to be Judged at that Great White Throne Judgement where Jesus Christ will be The One who is going to Judge All Mankind and The Books will be open , and another Book will be opened which is The Book of Life , and if your name is not Found in The Book of Life then Jesus is going to say unto you depart from me you workers of iniquity I no you not ? Prepare for the Devils and his Angels and cast that unprofitable servant into Outer Darkness where there shall be weeping., Whaling , and the Ghashing of the Teeth in The Lake of Fire Brimming with Fire and Brimstone. And Jesus is going to say to the saved that was in The Book of Life , Come I have prepared a place for you in My Fathers Kingdom , you have been Faithful over a few things , and I shall make you a ruler over many things. Now enter into The Joy of The LORD a place prepared for you. The New Jerusalem and I shall give you a White Stone with My New Name on it.

You are not supposed to change, subtract from or add to what God's word says. Paul never wrote "To be absent from the body IS TO BE PRSENT with the LORD". People need to start reading the Bible for themselves and stop allowing others who teach these traditional false doctrines to interpret the Bible for them. The saints are in the grave just as the wicked are, both awaiting the resurrection (except for the few that were taking early, with their body, as recorded in the scriptures- specifically Enoch, Elijah, Moses and Jesus).
When we die we are dead, unconscious and we decompose back into the dust of the earth. Like a cloud that vanishes or a shadow that does not continue.
“As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more. HE SHALL RETURN NO MORE TO HIS HOUSE, NEITHER SHALL HIS PLACE KNOW HIM AND MORE.” Job 7:9 & 10
Death is referred to as “sleep” throughout the Bible and by Jesus Himself. We are not really sleeping, but like sleep we are in an unconscious state. You may have seen headstones on graves that read, “Rest In Peace” or “Asleep In Jesus”. We stay in the grave until Jesus calls us pout of the grave at the resurrection.
“Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble. He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: HE FLEETH AS A SHADOW, AND CONTINUETH NOT…
…For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant. BUT MAN DIETH, AND WASTETH AWAY: yea, man giveth up the ghost (breath), AND WHERE IS HE? As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up: SO MAN LIETH DOWN, AND RISETH NOT:TILL THE HEAVENS (meaning our atmosphere) BE NO MORE, THEY SHALL NOT AWAKE, NOR BE RAISED OUT OF THEIR SLEEP.
O that thou wouldest HIDE ME IN THE GRAVE, that thou wouldest KEEP ME SECRET, until thy wrath be past, that THOU WOULDEST APPOINT ME A SET TIME, AND REMEMBER ME!
IF A MAN DIE SHALL HE LIVE AGAIN? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, TILL MY CHANGE COME. THOU SHALT CALL, AND I WILL ANSWER THEE: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.” Job 14:1 & 2, 7-15
We die and go to the grave. We will not be alive until the resurrection when Jesus calls us out of the grave.
“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which ALL THAT ARE IN THE GRAVE SHALL HEAR HIS VOICE, AND THEY SHALL COME FORTH; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. John 5:28 & 29
What is the resurrection "of life" for if not to restore life. We don't have a soul. We are a soul (being/creature). When Jesus returns, He will recreate us, call out to us, we will hear His voice and rise up out of the grave. Death, "the last enemy to be conquered" will be conquered for good at that time.
