He dropped in his track's because you spined him.You said that just doesn't happen. It doe's every time if you spine them. How many hunters you know who take's a neck shot. Not many because they are afraid of missing them.
What rifle and caliber is that. I got a pair of matching rifles. Ruger magnum Express in 416 Rigby and 458 lott. I want to hint africa before I cant do it before I kick the bucket.
Those are lovely calibres, but IMO they're both do the same thing: a big bore rifle for dangerous game. If I were you, I'd sell one and get a medium bore for PG. This gives you a greater versatility in hunting. I have taken cape buff and PG with my FN 9.3x62 bolt-action, which covers everything up to the point where my 458 Win Mag takes over. Do yourself a favour, get a good medium bore - 30/06, 300HH, 9.3x62, 300 Win Mag - and GO!! The ONLY way you'll get there is to make a conscience decision to do it - and stick to it!! Then it'll happen!! Today you can do a great DG/PG 10-day hunt for around US$15K. But BE WARNED!! - once you go you'll be bitten by the bug, and will be wanting to get back asap!! It's like an incurable disease, and - I'm happy to say - incurable!! Good luck!! 😊👍
@@vernonlarson7016 Mate, with your 8mm shooting 200gr projies, and either of your big bores, you're good to go!! IMO I'd take the .416 purely for the nostalgia of it being a RIGBY!! (Make sure you post your trip up on AH!!) 😊👍
Excellent PH'S, guides, trackers, videographer and crew!!! Great hunting all of you!!! Again, Excellent hunting!!!! Keep up the awesome work!!!!
The cameraman missed the most crucial part of the film , the dropping of the bull.
A great PH will always advise you to take your time and squeeze your trigger slowly!
Great video, great hunting.
