The real reason this change is a slap in the face is because daily login rewards were an advertised incentive for purchasing any of the founder’s packs, so changing how the rewards are acquired feels predatory and like false advertisement so it’s leaving a sour taste in everyone’s mouth

This change annoys me so much. I am someone who originally purchased an expensive founders pack just for the vbuck rewards, but eventually grinded to the end of the stw campaign (150+ hours of playtime) for the music pack at the end. As someone who has played a lot of STW, I can say that grinding daily quests is annoying and time consuming. Many times, the missions that are in the zones that are needed to complete the quests are terrible and can take upwards of thirty minutes a mission. Also, many times it takes more than one mission to complete a daily quest. Thanks for keeping us updated, Tabor. I really hope they revert this or refund us some amount of money or vbucks.

Gosh...I did login daily pretty consistently and had more than 1000 days in...The amount of free VB I got is absurd!

As one who doesn't own stw, it's really stupid considering that this was one of the big reasons you would buy that version. They even ignored stw for a while. I didn't even know Epic was the stereotypical capitalistic company back then.
if people actually play daily (or at the very least once every 3 days) you gain more vbucks than before
it's been like 5 years and now people are making a big fuss that their STW vbucks farming machine is gone and they actually have to play the game. Those poor people! Everyone is glossing over the other smaller changes they made which is going to make STW better to play. It's not a huge change, but it's better than nothing.
@@drawingandthings6851 hey dumbass not all stw players are new 80% of us have already finished the game’s story events ventures questlines so what’s the point to repeat the same thing 7 times a week for a few vbucks that you will think you can save for a few months but in reality will just buy a 200-500 vbucks emote and daily was actually not even that good it gave you 100-350 per week and every 250-365 1k vbucks
i see both sides of this however its not 10,080 over 336 days, because you get 1 daily quest each day it would give you either 50, 6o, or 100 v-bucks for doing it, pre-update, but with the new values being 80,90 and 130 v-bucks per quest (updated version) your looking at a minimum of 26,880 v-bucks over 336 days and a maximum of 43680, middle value being 30240 as your average (not likely to have all daily quests be 130 but still) , factoring that in your getting more, also missions arent that hard, it would take u an hour tops to do 3 quests a day, so 20 mins average a quest, you can do them simultaneously and if theres a hard 1 either YT it or re-roll it. as well as this getting you to play the game opens you up to more v-bucks opportunities but it is time consuming. there are 4 ten-wave storm shield defences to do over the 4 core playable zones each giving 100 per completion of each so 4k v-bucks total, then theres a bonus to that being every few that you do i think its every 6, you get a bonus 100, then theres a quest called toxic treasures which rewards you 30 v-bucks for killing a certain amount of mimics which becomes a grind as you need to kill 1 more every time, then you can get 2 lots of 1000 at a certain level in the collection book, so encouraging players to play save the world is a positive for both players and the developers as it gives players earnable currency and the devs hard work of stw is actually being used and with the changes to campaign rewards in stonewood and plankerton it makes it easier to progress after the update

I would accept more these changes if they actually gave me a reason to have fun and play STW. Not only there is a massive lack of new content, the glitches make the game sometimes unplayable. You can't just take away something without giving content in return.
Tbh they should keep the daily login rewards and add the 30 additional to the daily missions since we dont get as much mission alerts
They really didn’t nerf vbucks from stw it just makes it so you actually have to play stw for the vbucks. They are increasing the amount of v bucks by 30 vbucks. Plus you actually get 210 extra vbucks from the change per week if you do all the dailies. A lot of daily quests can be finished in a 10 minute mission.
Not to mention mission alert buffs, so if vbucks on a mission alert, even more

those missions are NOT 10 minutes long at all and sometimes you have to do two missions to complete all of the challenges
Tabor, you don't have to spend hours to do the Missions. You can change 1 Daily Quest every day anyway. You're making a big deal about nothing. For every Daily Quest you finish, you get 23K BR XP anyway. They want people to actually play the game. Most Founders will appreciate more VBucks per Daily Mission. Right now, you get 50, 60, or 100 VBucks from a Daily Quest, now it sounds like you will get 80, 90, or 130. That's definitely better than only getting 150 VBucks every two weeks, along with a lot of useless stuff I don't need.
I really hope the numbers change to 80, 90 and 130... That will fully compensate for the weekly 150. But those 300, 800 and 1000 might be gone for good.
Tabor, I think when you're talking about founders editions you are saying the most expensive (or more expensive) versions had the vbucks, but I only bought the standard (when it was 50% off) and have always earned vbucks from login. I was upgraded for free later on though as part of an update.
Tabor this is a good change, if you actually play stw you get more vbucks, you can get 500+ a week
The Vbucks were shifted, not obliterated.
The only change is that BR players cant abuse something for STW, still accessible to them if they play.
Daily quests are pretty quick to do once you level up a little. Plus they stack up to 3 and you can randomly replace 1 a day if you dont like the quest, pretty flexible I'd say.
Give save the world a chance! There are other benefits to playing as well 😁

No STW died long ago when they decided to slow updates down to a stand still and, kill the game mode. Why play a game that doesn’t have new content flowing into It because, I can say with out a doubt if their was no new content for BR no one would play it or, get bored of it real fast.

Never liked when they removed the screen where you choose between STW, creative, and BR. Definitely less players but the game is still alive.
people swear like it's the end of the world when all they did was change it so you can't use STW like a little piggybank and just log in to get you rewards. everyone is just ignoring the smaller changes they made like distributing said rewards to all the quests that were useless before making them actually playable instead of glossing over em.

The daily logins were really fun and you could even get 1k vbucks or 800 sometimes and what will happen about the other things like llamas from daily logins and why did they have to change it for no reason they should make another map after twine peaks

It may just be better to have epic compensate for this change, and maybe let us founders (me included) have either a partial v bucks refund or have founder have easier quests for more v bucks. Either way I cant wait to see where this goes

Finishing daily challenges is not that hard if you play or played the game you can often finish multiple in a single match. But i agree it can tedious sometimes when you dont get lucky. 80 vbucks a day sounds great to me but only because im an active player and enjoy the game. I often forget to login as I alternate between BR so it will give me the chance to get those vbucks faster even if i dont login as often.

I actually like this change, because I can get more v-bucks out of it. For example, if I get 50 v-bucks quests, which would be 80 now, I would get 560 v-bucks a week if I did them all, which could end up being more than getting those big weekly ones

Good change for STW since no one with the founders pack that I know has played the game in years and will make it enjoyable having something to work for
They probably realized it was too easy to get vbucks and people getting $100 worth of vbucks a year from a one time purchase makes them buy less Vbucks throughout the year.
I agree its not what you signed up for but on the other hand most founders have probably definitely gotten their moneys worth by now. But you also helped Fortnite have funding before it was big.

I feel like it would have made more sense to cut it in half and boost the challenges because when people login even if they dont play STW they might play Battle Royal.

It wasn't a big deal for someone to log in for 3 minutes even when busy. But 30 minutes daily is a bigger ask for kids in school whose parents might not let them play on weekdays or working adults.
They just changed the weekly quests to require more playing time too. Minimum of 3 games now, and there more difficult requiring more time on top of it, then added the weekly quest rewards as the carrot on a stick
Honestly it's not that time consuming after a certain point to do dailies in stw. There are plenty of zones you can rush that enable fast completion in under the alloted time which is about 20min its very much a mountain our of a molehill.
That's 20 minutes of doing something that I don't want to. No thanks. I value my time more than that.
This change was because of stw founders who don't even play, they hop on, grab rewards and then go back to battle royale. Real shame, as it's arguably the better game.

The Daily Quests are easy but it takes along time to do the missions Rescue the Survivors is the quickest I think if you find all Survivors and can't let any of them die from the Husk, Destroy the Encampments is second, and Third is Fight The Storm before you have to find Blue glow to deposit into the Atlas and build over it and place traps use only take 8 minutes to do. You can do all these missions in Stonewood which is easiest mode you can do it in.
Recently, all Fortnite have been terrible like grenade, trios, heavy snipers so now this it so bad

I don't really understand why they changed it to begin with. I too bought the founders edition way back when and it doesn't offer much in terms of vbucks considering daily login rewards would take up to 2-3 weeks, mission rewards don't go above 40 and at mostly you'll get 1 per rotation, and daily quests go up to 50-100 vbucks but its randomized and limited to 3 slots.
I know it sounds like a lot, but it wouldn't be enough to buy a common skin in the Item shop. So yeah, this choice is a real kick to the teeth to Founder's members.
You literally get the same amount over time as from the daily login rewards. The daily login came out to an average of 30 a day. Starting tomorrow daily quests will be increased by 30 Vbucks. So it is still 30 a day, but you actually have to play to get them now.
I still regret not buying STW back then but always found it to be so expensive.
The daily quests change do suck though. Whenever I buy the STW packs it always feels a bit like a chore to do the daily tasks for the vbucks.
As a big time stw player this is just the worst thing they can do like why, it already messed up the max xp you can get for br

I played my daily quest last night and was reminded of something. You get 23k BR xp for doing the daily + the mission xp. If you think of it as an xp quest that gets you vbucks too it might make it a little more palatable. It took me about 15 minutes I finished 2 daily quests. Got 160 vbucks and 64k battle pass xp. I have wasted way more time in team rumble for less.
Your vbucks are just gonna be more in daily quest. It still same amount or even more, you just gonna have to work for them now. Also you can save daily for up to 3 days so you can just spend 3 days doing them.
It's actually MUCH MORE now, VBucks and other rewards across the board are getting buffed, only requirement is actually having to play the game which is a completely understandable trade off.
This is a brilliant update for the actual players that spend time daily playing stw. V bucks over rotation of 336 days has actually increased. You still earn around 30k v bucks per year only difference is you need to play the game now

Makes sense that they would want to generate more in-game time to earn the rewards.
If they don't have enough active players, there is no money sense to allocate time and resources to supporting the game.
The makers of Fortnite and epic games are filthy rich. I don't need 100 or 300 V bucks every week or two. People spend way more money buying v-bucks through the game or buying PlayStation reebuck cards at local retailers. They shouldn't even have to worry about making this change

Epic bought, or contracted, the exclusive platform/store rights to the game. But even though they had the money, did a terrible job of promoting the game. Eventually the whole the game stopped getting support due to lack of a large enough player base.

I don't think it's THAT bad, since an easy method for the "Play x missions as a _ class" can be done in any Storm Shield Defense Endurance in like 5 minutes by surviving Round 1 and intentionally losing on Round 2. The worst one is probably those exploration dailies that take 1-2 missions in a certain area.

Crazy , I had a free friend code for stw a while back , never got to give it to anyone because one day it was randomly removed , then they nerfed Xp earned in stw and now this … yeah , not a fan at all
Not only this... but V-Bucks arent free in the Battle Pass anymore, there used to be a couple of pages (first and last, maybe one around the middle) where they were free, now you need to buy the pass. It's kind of annoying when I'm only around 200 off from being able to buy it.

I think it's good in certain point of view because the ones with stw get free vbucks just by logging in, and the ones that don't have stw doesn't receive free vbucks, so.. I take it as a balance change
Pretty wierd the fact that theyre gonna remove daily quests to just boost by 30 vb more every challenges, since already it exists a mission that gives 100 vb think about doing the same quest but youd get 130 vb instead theyre shooting themeself in the knee by doing this thing, even wierd the fact that no one will play if the move the daily rewards to daily quests like the vb missions, so putting the daily rewards as a a daily quest it means theres a 50/50 change your daily quest is gonna have as a reward being a rare hero/weapon llama or rain drop or smth like that. Like even worse to think that removing daily rewards and giving every founders 30 more vb for completing quests will be an incentive for ppl to play more stw while everyone knows the "og" stw players quit it or just log in every know and then do the quest if its quick and leave like seriously epic?!

The people that play stw probably won’t because they do the dailies anyways, only people complaining are probably the people that don’t play stw, I personally find no issue with this change as you get more vbucks per week on average

I play save the world every day and get vbucks daily this is a good change for me but I do understand the frustration other people have but on a side note people who never gave save the world a chance or played it in general have lost out because it is a fantastic game that never got the attention it deserved

Fortnite save the world is completely fine i don’t see any point of changing the daily login system which is great. i get that epic wants ppl to play save the world more but that doesn’t mean they have to force us into grinding those vbucks. what sucks for me is that the next day i’m supposed to get 800 vbucks for daily logins and epic does this stupid change
The tradition of exchanging wedding rings goes back to ancient Egyptian times
Everything else in the update will be amazing for StW, the only point of contention in the community is daily login rewards. It's sad, but it also will almost double the average amount of vbucks/X-ray tickets available in a year. It's a good change for people who play StW a ton, but it's unfortunate for those who mainly just login to make back the money they spent on Founder's.
I didn’t buy any of the Save the World Founders Packs, but this is concerning for those who picked any of them up.
I’m fine with it (founder) because I enjoy playing and it’s actually a net positive in the amount of vbucks you get.

I m a stw founder from 2018 i have ultimate founders pack with nocturno . This is probably the worst decision in Fn ever. I Have enough time to login and claim reward, but doing quests in stw daily is too much.

Don´t get me wrong. Removing the daily reward is a bad decision but I personally don´t mind it as much. I mean yea you gotta work for it but IN MY OPINION save the world is fun and seeing more players play it will be nice. I am a founder by the way

They removed vbucks for daily logins but increased them for rewards for completing missions. Best STW update for players who actually love to play that mode.

I think if they arnt going to change the changes then they should add a bigger buff to the rewards for doing the missions because it is currently the exact same so just alter it and add a percentage bonus too if
Not a founder but I enjoy the daily rewards. RIP! I’ve been grinding STW levels to get all the free pickaxes. The missions truly are time consuming. Overall not terrible news for the people who actually enjoy playing it.
They also upped the rewards in general so ppl that play get more stuff
for those who keep saying daily quests are time consuming, it’s not. It’s honestly not that hard to do them if you know what your doing, in fact you could probably get done all of them in one mission if your lucky enough
Yeah they are sooo Fun!!!! I love spending 20 minutes searching for 3 firetrucks just for there to be 2 and i have to waste another 20 minutes of my life! I also love playing 3 mission as a commander which is 60 minutes so quick and easy!! Yeah man your probably either new to stw or haven’t even spent money on founders you probably got it from those stw packs just so you know daily quests will only give you gold/xp/vbucks and not gonna give you llamas or xp boosters or hero/weapon schematics so go back to br
Yeah spending money on something that is advertised just for it to be removed is called a “scam” which is when you are promised something and you don’t get it which in this case it’s removed and no this is not a good change or that “founders got their money’s worth” bs they don’t have the right to remove something that is crucial to the game where will you get the mini llamas or super llamas hmmmm? I bet you will be upset if fortnite removed daily quests from br
If they place those rewards in other missions I guess is ok, I have the platinum trophy so no problem for me to play high level missions and those quests are not difficult if you know how to do them.

I think in my opinion is a good change for those who play the game. For those who just wanted easy vbucks… well you will have to play about an hour or less every 3 days.
Yea I agree, this makes it so people that actively play get the rewards they deserve, where as people that just log in every day have to play, I think it’s fair

Well the daily rewards was actually for people bought the founder's pack that's why it's special and when you bought it that would be the only way to get v Bucks and sometimes it wouldn't even be that much
Thanks for the video Tabor. I had no clue they had done this. I was wondering what had happened to my daily rewards. Thought maybe it was a glitch or something but after several days I decided I would search it and your video popped up. I'm fuming about this. I found those daily rewards to be very helpful too me as I can't go spending loads of money on v-bucks it was really nice to get those v-bucks and be able to afford some cosmetics I wanted when I couldn't afford to put any money on the game. I also don't have much time at all for the save the world daily quests. I want to be spending the time that I do have for the game playing br. I always had respect for Fortnite not forcing you to play the game in ways you didn't want to for quests and stuff but now it seems like they are joining a lot of other games and making you do things you don't want to do. It's the sad part of the gaming world these days where games monitize through frustration. They just want people to spend more money on v-bucks because they either will not be bothered to do the quests or they don't have the time to do them
I think this is great... It means more players ACTUALLY play the game. They didn't nerf v-bucks, they just made it so people ACTUALLY play the game... this is great news
nobody will play it just because they added 30 vbucks to dailies,i have asked around 23 people and everyone says they'll just be giving stw even less time,since it's useless to even log into it now
@@sbendy6957 the point of gaining the v bucks was as a reward for playing stw so it makes sense this way, technically speaking for how quickly a daily challenge can be done its an easy source of v bucks over time, minimum 80 v bucks per daily challenge that takes like 15 mins to complete. thats 15 mins each day resulting in 1.75 hours spent to gain a minimum of 560 v bucks a week or 1,120 v bucks per fortnight for 3 and a half hours of playtime so roughly 2,240 v bucks per month taking 7 hours set aside over the course of a month which with how much time people spend on battle royale thats really not that much time to put in for how many v bucks you gain without spending a single penny thats pretty good if you ask me.

I get that they want people to play STW more, But if you want people to play your game... Maybe actually update it??? There is literally nothing you would get out of playing STW since the game had been abandoned since 2020. So atleast they could add some additional content into STW. But no, instead Epic making good decisions for once in their lives, Now all we get are stupid changes too packs some people paid HUNDREDS of dollars for.

I can still remember the day i finally saved enough money to buy stw. I went to the xbox store and it wasnt availiable for purchase, even though the DAY BEFORE i could buy it. A few weeks go by and they sell mecha team leader and i was pissed cuz i wanted the vbucks. I bought the new pack anyway because i thought the skin would be rare then they put it in the ITEMSHOP. Just that one, not any of the other ones. Stw has only ever given me pain... still haven't even done the vbucks quests for the pack

i may not be correct but if you get 30 more vbuxs per day for daily quests that give 50 vbux you would get 80 vbux per day but with the daily login you get like 300 vbux every 2 to 3 weeks
I still enjoy save the world even though i'm not a founder but the fact epic games are doing this sucks!
I mean most daily quests u can complete in 2-3 missions and the missions aren’t too long but yeah I still don’t like how they are taking away the daily rewards
This has been one of my main sources of v bucks for a while, and I’m hoping epic will reconsider 😢
Daily quests can usually be done in 10mins plus you can get around 50k BR XP at the same time... just give it a go... I play very little BR and always get to level 250-300 on the battle pass!
I hope people complain enough so they undo the change it back. Because that's how I get most of my v bucks. They need stop trying to fixing stuff that doesn't need to be fixed.

Long story short I can never get vbucks from save the world even though I’ve been playing since season 3
I still can’t find any founders pack codes for sale online….. 😢

TABOR please speak to whoever you know at Epic and express our distain...they should at the VERY LEAST compensate us for being founders....I mean honestly I feel like they owe us money or vbucks in proportion to the amount of vbucks we could have gotten by logging in every day for AT LEAST a year...that was part of the deal when we became founders
As someone who don't have a founder's pack I don't really see a problem here

I have obtained over 400k Vbucks in the past 4~5 years.
I don't play Fortnite anymore but still login to STW and occasionally do daily missions. After this update I'm done with Fortnite.
