Trains at Sheffield - 3rd May 2023

Sheffield is a picturesque place to watch the trains in spring weather such as that on offer on 3rd May 2023. Freightliner serve up a double dose of Class 66 movements (unusual for Sheffield which does not see an abundance of freight), but the stars of the show are CrossCountry's Class 43 power cars 43366 and 43384 (wearing not only a stunning coat of British Railways-era InterCity 125 paintwork but also its original TOPS number of 43184 and set number of 253 051) as they work from Derby up to Neville Hill.
