- Sky News host Sharri Markson says there has not been “outrage” over the more than 100 hostages still captured by Hamas in Gaza.
Ms Markson said all we hear is “constant calls” for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
“There’s outright bias from most of the left wing media.”

The Left don't mention the new style of leadership by Sinwar, that he executed 6 hostages that were close to being rescued by the Israelis. Sinwar has added a new condition to the ceasefire negotiations, that Israel will not kill him, so of his own survival. This is despite the coward's previous statement that he'd be proud to fight and die against Israel.
Hamas insists that Israel leave the Philadelphi and Netzarim corridors, key points for territorial control and military security of Gaza, currently controlled by Israel. Israel sees control of these areas as essential for national security. Netanyahu has ruled out any Israeli withdrawal from the corridors.
When Israel left Gaza in 2005, the Philadelphi corridor became a hub for arms smuggling for Hamas from Egypt. This area also includes the Rafah crossing, the only access point for Palestinians to the outside world and a key passage for supplies to enter the Gaza Strip.
The Netzarim corridor is made up of Israeli military bases and is used to monitor and control the movement of the Palestinian population between the two parts of Gaza, as well as a starting point for military operations.
Negotiations are complex and best left to those qualified on the subject matter. People at home and not involved in the military or fighting on the ground should not interfere based on emotions
Sinwar was known to torture rape and murder fellow palestinians in prison.

People who call for a 'ceasefire' or otherwise support Hamas either have no idea about the religio-political ideology of Hamas; or they do and so want to promote the establishment of a sharia caliphate. The only way to release the hostages and stop Hamas' and its cruel oppression of the people of Gaza and theft from them is for the international community to show its implacable opposition to it, much like John III Sobieski of Poland's rescue of the West from Islamist aggression in 1683.
