- Hi Everyone, thanks for tuning in to my first ever cash stuffing video.
I am a thirty something year old new mum on maternity leave and I have gradually seen my income reduce, and it will reduce even further... so I've decided to start budgeting.
If you have any tips/advice then please do let me know.
BTW sorry about the fact my budget planner is a bit zoomed out, will do better next time :)

Before digital banking and payments, everyone budgeted this way. When I started work in the early 70s, everyone was paid weekly in cash. Cash was stashed in different places depending what it was being used for.

Fab video! Love to find new budgeters 🥰 just to say when you’re mat leave income goes down even more, please don’t feel bad if you need to use child benefit for other things, all bills/food etc are for your child too so it’s fine to use it to cover basics if you need to ❤️
Yes. Your right. She might change her mind. But when your back at work you could start saving it towards braces or school tours. No point in spending it for the sake of it. Babies grow so fast, but they don’t need much fancy clothes either ! But as this is your first baby - go for it ! 🥰

I literally start putting away for Christmas end of December when I get paid, so then now we’re in September I’m not flapping about cos I have no money and only 3 more pay days until Christmas.

Instead of getting the tiny envelopes, I just divided it in my purse. To get the extra sections I just ripped one side of the credit card sections with a nail scissors. Viola - now I have 6 sections in the one purse.
Noo, what if you get your purse pinched. 😳

It’s only €150 at the most. For petrol, food, cleaning stuff, lunches and fun and roll over. Those are my sections
Most I spend on myself is 25 on my hair every 3 months
£88 for council tax in U.K.?! Where?!
Haha its split so £88 each - nearly £190 a month :(
