No dear. Calculated hp is 5 . Efficiency after five or six years drop is reason. In fact no pump give you 100 percent. You must study pump curves to see pump efficiency and behavior. You should also explain from where its constant is derived. And you also explain head calculations. Please don't spread wrong or incomplete information.
Efficiency calculation is wrong If pump efficiency is going to drop from 100% to 70% . Then there must be 30% higher efficiency pump to be used to cover up of future loss 100%+30%=1.3 5×1.3= 6.5 hp
