Had one sitting on my finger that all of a decided to bite me. I must've startled it somehow. It managed to slice off a thin layer of skin. Minuscule bleeding, and it barely hurt.
I remember my cousin grabbed one by the tail, it curled up towards her finger and bit her. She screamed and I just died laughing that she learned the hard way that it hurts when these cute little guys bite

Yes!! Earlier tonight I surprisingly put my finger in front of a dragonfly, it crawled onto & rested on my finger, but never bit me. Shortly after it flew away my friend caught it by the wings, and surrendered it to the palm of my hand, it started biting me and I got startled and it flew away. There’s a first for everything lol
They're not aggressive to people and usually only bite when distressed and defending itself. They don't contain venom or enzymes or other wierd stuff so their bite isn't like a bee sting or spider bite. Apparently big ones can draw blood, but I imagine it probably feels like being pinched by an earwig, but stronger. I actually love dragonflies, any bug that preys on wasps, mosquitoes and horseflies is okay in my book.
i got a problem i saw a giant dragonflie like almost the size of my hand inside of a store hiting a glass window to go outside some people were nearby but didnt do anything so i got inside and she was on my finger but when i was almost outside i saw his tail moving like a wasp trying to sting then it stinged me what was that is that poisenous? it fel like a needle

When I was kid, much smaller (than shown on video) dark-blue color dragonfly bite me into my finger and it hurt as hell.

Dragonflies aren’t usually aggressive. Though, they do bite when being held its wings or squished.

Hold it by the tail only. You gotta make it hostile for it to give you a real bite. This one is just gnawing.
