I heard this song on The Magicians season 2, episode 1, and it grabbed ahold of me and set root in my head before the first verse was finished. Its very rare that a song does that to me any longer. Great song !!! Edit:- I'm glad music like this is still being made. And to be honest, I hadn't heard of these guys before, but after hearing the song on The Magicians, I looked for this song, and I listened to more of their songs and I have to wonder why these guys aren't getting more airplay ?

@@nontecago4150 I love The Magicians ! I keep hoping another network or streaming service will pick it up and run with the wealth of opportunity left with how the series ended. Its bit off topic for this song, but they could do so much with the search for Margo and Company from Brakebills U and their efforts to not only get back to earth, but to get Fillory up and going on a better foundation than the one that lead it to dysfunction. Plus, it would just be really cool to see the stuff Hoberman added with his wish list to the world seed. That show rocks, hopefully, if someone does pick it up and run with it, I just hope it not SYFY. I read somewhere around the time ZNation was half thru it 5th and final season that SYFY would no longer take any series for more than a 5 season run, regardless of ratings. I'm not getting invested in another series they produce so long as that is their SOP.
@@nontecago4150 Also, since I had not heard of the source material for the show, I was very surprised by how many books Lev Grossman has written in that series of books. There could be so much more.

@@nontecago4150If another network or streaming service picks it up(fingers crossed but not holding my breath) and enough of the original cast would come back that it would still be recognizable as part of The Magicians series , I'll be there in the front of the line to watch it. My kids were too old to have gotten caught up in Harry Potter craze, so once I took a chance with The Magicians and watched long enough to see that it could be like Harry Potter, but for adults. But there's plenty of loose ends to go with if any number of the original cast would sign on. Its hard to imagine that none of them would interested and the fan base wouldn't come flying back like A Flock Of Lost Birds coming home to roost. Although the series as we know it will never come back, we can always hope . PS- It's good to see Trever Einhorn back in a series. The last thing I saw him in was as a child actor in Frasier as Frederick Crane.
I listened to this song with one earbud in on the ski lift with my buddy Ryan before his heart failure. Broken Bells, Portugal the Man, TV on the Radio... always brings me back to those times hittin' the slopes listening to a smooth track before we hopped off the lift just shooting the shit making jokes about that 'get pitted' guy dropping in at the top of the mountain. Man, good vibes like a warm blanket.
I distinctly remember hiding my iPod background from em because it was so cringe. Always makes me laugh hahaha what a great feeling.
