First, make sure you have good counterbalance on the back of the tractor. Second make sure your RPMS are all the way up! Third, try to get the load as close to the back of the pallet forks as possible, the further away from the tractor the harder it is to lift.
Yeah, I have same machine with the backhoe and it's capacity is like yours so I don't know what this dude's intention is but to get himself in trouble with a customer that buys one based on his story.
@myopinioncountsmost2419 my guess is there's some shims being utilized to increase the hydraulic pressure. Cause there's no way my B2601 could lift that. I was so disappointed with my lift capacity I bought a shim kit with a pressure gauge. To my surprise, it was already at max pressure per Kubota specs.
@georgechristiana6050 it was a couple years ago, but I'm pretty sure it was 2200 or 2500 psi. Whatever the maximum is that's recommended by Kubota. There was a group where someone posted the page out of the Kubota service manual. I did not add anymore since it was already at the max. And I don't recommend taking it higher. It'll just cause premature wear, and the pumps aren't cheap.
Hopefully it should! It depends on how dense and what the bale consists of, but if it is 900-1,200lbs then I think with the right counterbalance on the back you could get it done.
I have one with loader and backhoe so I can tell you the truth: very well made, expensive toy. A lot better than doing things by hand but don't expect the performance of a proper wheel loader. Mine doesn't lift anywhere near that BTW.

That would be the rotations per minute of your PTO shaft. Engine speed would be a different number.

So, if i have a 3x4x8 square hay bale i should at least be able to pick it up a couple of feet and move it around 🤔

i'm looking at compact tractors with the plan to move a couple round hay bales per year, i'm thinking a 3 point bale spear will be the best bet
