>Spellfencer
Drain has entered the chat.
Even with Blood Blade as a free alternative for this, you won't see it until Vampire Castle, making Drain; and spellfencer in general really good for any physical class in the game. Being able to exploit 5 of 7 elemental weaknesses makes for great damage potential in all stages, and drain and aspir can be used for some on the fly sustain.
ohhh please do Bravely second! since they got more weird jobs their
Ngl, I found Swordmaster to pair well with someone else as a Ninja on the team. Using the Ninja skill that forces enemies to attack a certain party member, then having the Seordmaster use its Counter Skills is insanely useful, especially if you've been making a tanky character. Give Spell Fencer as a Sub Job for the Swordmaster so they can use Drain as they counter its hilarious.
Another fun tactic is Monk's Phoenix Flight with Blood Blade Equipping. Yeah, just do *all of your HP* in damage and gain it back automatically. And Dark Knight Subclass for Minus Strike, and you can't really go wrong.
The thing I still love about this game is that there’s no wrong way to go into fights so depending on what classes you bring, and with good execution most strategies can be viable.
Pirates worked really well with the swordmaster's free lunch. You can keep spamming the 4x damage attack at no cost
The Salve Maker is easily my favorite job in the game for its versatility and the fact that it actually gave me things to spend money on in the late game
The list is a bit surprising as its much different than what I expected in some cases. God Speed Strike from Thief made really easy max damage attacks on any enemy, coupled with its great speed. Because it was an MP skill and not a BP skill, you could spam it all day.
It was so good, I remembered how broken it was when I started Bravely Default 2 and it basically put the entire game, including all the post game stuff, on easy mode (though Godspeed strike was nerfed in Bravely Default 2 as it required BP).
Templar I remember giving a lot of use to because it had the ability to negate all damage I believe for all allies for a turn. You could run a cheese strat against most bosses where you could generate enough BP to be immune to damage against many bosses. Have like a spirit master, and I think it was 2 Templar and you were invincible no matter what nuke was used as you could make sure that shield was permanently up with the correct rotation.
But I only played the game once at launch through and its not like I did a low challenge run.
Great points. Looking at it objectively I think the thief could be slightly higher for those exact reasons.
On that last point for the Thief, in the late game, all of your BP skills become MP at the cost of not increasing BP when defaulting but why default when you can steal BP right? Would also like to add that it affects sub-classes too.
Damn, i totally missed this video a week ago! Glad to have watched it anyways ^^
One of my favourite combos in the game is the Dark Knight's Dark Nebula with the Spiritmaster's Adaptation. Make your entire party absorb dark and you have an incredibly strong AOE attack that greatly harms all enemies AND heals your party (not to mention healing back any of the damage the Dark Knight would've taken using the move in the first place!). As long as you have a good BP control party member, you can spam Dark Nebula relentlessly with this.
Love it man!
Its such a pity you can no longer yet villagers through online anymore.
I know you can throygh streetpass but the odds of finding someone are next to nothing. And i was planning on getting Bravely Second next, i hate not being able to access all content.
My fav is easily the vampire class i luv paring it with the spell fencer class for more element and status ailment versatility and even though im not for censorship im more of a fan of the censored vers of the class ironically enough.. i personally see it more as a different style of the class rather than censorship this time around at least the only negatives that come to mind are..
1. Is a late game class
2. tracking down all the monster abilities is annoying af since not all of them can be obtained the same way
3. even though the class is supposed to be a mix attacker there's barely any magical skills it could learn and even the few it had are no longer available due to the servers shutting down (bravely second doesn't seem to have this issue if you were wondering don't know about bravely default 2 since i haven't played it yet) so outside of hacking you're pretty much force to run a physical built unless you want to do some weird half ass shenanigans by giving it magical skills from other classes but at that point why bother doing that when you can just make one of your other characters a dedicated magic attacker
Yeah by principle I don’t like the censorship in this series but I agree it looks fine.
Could u do what are the best type of monster in Yugioh falsebound kingdom
Ahhh yes spiritmaster
I love god speed strike. I would hit max damage with it
There is also some OP combinations. For example, I used the one turn invencibility of the ninja with the counter attack of the sword master. Only with that I got the class of vampire in a point that I should not be ready to defeat him. Also the pirate was for me a mandatory class for defeat one boss, without the ability of debuff it, I simply can not kill it.
I like you videos, there are so cool. I also like to read your personal experience of the game and your personal team.
@@sebastiandzulsolano2707 no other combos too. I just like that one specifically
@@locloudanerpg what other combos did you used? And on wich characters? Maybe that could be a good second part, wich jobs are better for each charactet
I admit that Stillness is the only reason i managed to finish the game with the true ending, otherwise i'd likely given up on the game after the plot twist.
Salvemaker is godtier it can do max damage with the right mixture
Ninja/sword master dual wield with the ability of spell fencer. Frenetic fighting with multitask and katana lore solos mobs with max brave especially if weakness is exploited
'Promosm' 😞
I'm currently replaying both this & Bravely Second, and I must say: I only half agree with this list.
WM & BM in the low tiers? Come on, WM is among the most useful jobs, at least be in the top tier. Yes, I'll give you that every enemy in the game has their m.def too high, but that's mitigated somewhat by the pierce m.def support skill. TM being in the top tier? It's useful, but not more useful than WM. The Spellfencer is a fairly tanky damage class with the best elemental coverage in the game.
Personally, I think people underestimate the Swordmaster, sure aggro is pretty much garbage in this game, but counter & multitask are great. The Spellfencer is a fairly tanky damage class with the best elemental coverage in the game. The Black Knight, great for damage, but somewhat of a liability.
The Merchant & Salvemaker? Even back when first played the games, I saw only skin-deep uses for them, that's still true now, so I'll evaluate them again. As for the Spiritmaster, extremely useful, superb abilities, maxed out on a few characters, but could argue combined with the WM is what makes it God-tier.
I agree with you with about everything else, but the Conjurer is definitely top or even God-tier. It pairs well with everything because of its excellent stats and who wouldn't want the ability to max their stats during a boss fight?
Great points and I will agree with your point about pairing white mage and spirit master.
I think the sword master as be a high ter in BS because in BS it was a good class for tank and the white mage is okay but BS throw that class and give us the Bishop which is the op support ever
Edit: I only play half of BD and finish BS so my opinion might not be the best to say
The creator forgot to mention slow world/hasten world. That's why the TM is top tier.
My favorite job was def pirate hands down.
Great video man, love to see bravely default discussion in the modern day. Subbed🫡
Favorite was def the Merchant. I would sell recovery items to undead enemies. They would pay me and damage themselves 😂 Had to have been oversight on the dev's part
@averagecapybarafan2168 You think that's what he's claiming is an oversight?
Hahahaha!!!!
And low leverage was also amazing
what are you talking about? People buy stuff that hurts them all the time
why else is fast food such a gigantic industry
