Jade is usually cheerful and kind, but for some reason, she is acting strange. She begins to flirt with rose, but when she says no She captures her, and tells kanya that in 24 hours she will blow up her store and force rose to marry her! It is now up to kanya and her friend Karkat vantas to climb the Jade tower, Rescuing consorts, and fight eplougie-fied versions of their once friends! Will they be able to save their chums and defeat Jade?
Spoilers: After fighting her way through her friends who seem to be all acting out of character, she finally makes it to the top of Jade Tower. Staring right into the barkbeast’s eyes. As the fight begins Jade’s eyes begin to darken substantially. Soon Kanaya draws blood on her former friend and along with the blood, something else seems to be seeping from Jade’s body. The blackness in her eyes begins to drain from them as it drips out of her body. For a brief instant, Kanaya could’ve sworn she saw Jade’s familiar green eyes, as if something or someone else was behind the wheel. The fight continues with Karkat doing his best impression of a projectile. Once again blood was drawn, more of that blackness was creeping out of Jade until enough of it had seeped out for it to give itself a form. Alt Calliope is slightly annoyed now that her anonymity was compromised but the fight was far from over as she brandished her baton. Jade was still under AltCalliope’s control… I’ll finish this some other time aight?
