@@onlyonebike I'm riding the basic Gitane track bike I raced back in the mid 70s (old man here). I couldn't bear to drill the frame & fork for brakes, so I'm riding her without. Had to put on upright bars with Ergon grips, I have arthritis in my hands. Also laced up clincher wheels with 700x23 tires. She's a blast to ride. Handles quickly.
Only time I ever got into an accident was when I was riding in a shitty, painted bike lane. Now I never use them, unless they're actually separated and protected. You can go in the next lane if you need to get around me that bad, dickhead!
