This is the most delightful movie ever made. My dad grew up in the 30s and he LOVED it because he related so much to Ralphie. I watched this movie in his honor in the plane returning home from my sister’s house right after he passed away. Cried several times during that flight.

I have heard some disturbing stories about meal times with children. Making them stay at the table past midnight, making them eat till they vomit and then eat up the vomit, being held down and having the food shoved down their throat.........
