Wow thanks a lot for this tip I just took my mosconi 8/30 over to the shop 2/03/25 had them type in 125 in the mid bass and it smoothe out the overdrive rumble in the mid speakers on those certain songs the roll off worked like a charm even with the Barnie tune ,my volumes were set too high making the tweeters distort boosted in 5000,6300,and 8000 now the speakers like it thank again
basically a bass roll off. cool! you guys nailed it.
I have the 8/30 with front and rear focal component speakers lined in the amp as active, and I have that same problem there is this occasional song that may have an extra vibrating guitar and it over drives your mid speakers, I'm going to take it back to the shop and show them dynamic EQ right now I have filter set at 80 and go to 120 see how it works, the shop is still trying to figure out how to set pro 1 the pro 2 is almost like being in a recording studio looking at a big recording board or something they haven't even got to that yet ,if a lot of people were audiophiles the car audio shops would have to have a DSP person all of the time there
I do love my mosconi 8/12 aerospace.
You can also set something like the old "loudness" function some radios have in that section.
The auto setup in the new 3.44 GUI is awesome. Makes tuning child's play. I was very surprised with the results I'm getting.
Good tip! Although you had highpass on the left speaker and lowpass on the right. But we knew what ya meant 🤣
That's a great feature. I wish all new cars had better EQs though; but most have high, mid, lows. Is there an inline EQ similar to the Kenwood of the mid 90's that's just an EQ? Every song is Eq'd a little different and I like to change these setting on the fly.
Most aftermarket headunits have EQ settings that you can change on the fly.
@DevinderAthwal306 Mids, Lows, and Highs down count. The only car the I own that has a decent EQ is my BMW.
Dynamic eq seems to be what the stock amps do, lessen bass as the music gets louder. Seems auto manufacturerejust need to make better high powered amps so people dont upgrade.
