@@mondo_burrito oh, you're not alone, I believe thousands of volcas gather dust in closets. At the same time I can imagine that I would buy it someday. Wish you sell yours soon
love it. its a little house twch machine and already has so much potential. gonna get now a few other of the volcas. they really convinced me. im curious on your following videos. keepon jamming
This is great. How do you record the audio? What is the Volca Sample plugged into? Wondering if it is possible to record music directly into DAW or without a sound card, or on the go. I'm new to this with very little equipment, but want to record my live performances. Any advice? Love your channel by the way.
Hi! You can do it in several ways. In this video I used an external recorder (Tascam DR-05X). But, as you said, ypu can also use a soundcard (I have a Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 3rd Gen) and record into a DAW (I use FL Studio). I think those are the best options to record your jams. The advantage of the second option is that you can easily apply some post-processing (EQ, filter, other effects). I hope it helps you! Thank you !!
@@FATCAP Yes this was very helpful, thanks! I have started using my H1n external recorder and it has been working just fine. Thanks again for your help!
damn, i regret selling my esx! love my sample tho. thing is a beast. v sample, esx, digitakt and rytm are all very groovy boxes well worth their deskspace. mpc1000 with jjos 3 as well! :) now i need to get an octatrack...
Hey, just wanted to ask a few questions. 1) Do you use standard samples? 2) What BPM do you have? 3) Do you prepare the sequences before or is it more of a live ?
1/ Yes, I mostly use the samples by default 2/ I think in this case the BPM was between 125-130 3/ I begin with some melodies and sequences, but I also like to improvise something (for example, from 2:50)
Hey thanks again man that did it I've had my sample 2months now and have basically just sequenced percussion and until I watched all these creative demos was thinking it was nothing more than a 170.00 metronome I was wrong...
Awesome jam! The volca sample is SUPER underrated for its power. Keep up the good work!
The Volca Sample the best standalone Volca :D

Great stuff!
Yeah great jam my man!
Im feeling this one! 💪
Just wish the reverb was a little bit nicer and warmer on this, then it'd be the perfect jam machine
agree!
Jack Roberts use a guitar pedal for reverb
yeah but what about part select for reverb?..you'll lose that :(
Vlad Voica you van use left and right panning for that, just route the left chanel to a (mono) reverb.
nice live performance! but i want to ask some!
why your volca sample not coming out light ?
this is wired man :O
Thanks!
Sorry but I dont understand the question. Do you mean why is not conected to the electrical grid ?

Frírek I'm using an external soundcard and record it into my daw.
kiff!

u should have an ESX
it's just my opinion, ESX is volca sample on steroids lol

So nice man
Did you use the presamples?
Niklas thanks! do you mean factory samples? In that case yes, except for the bassline, which is a low-filtered square signal

why can't I get my reverb to work am I missing something?
Jonathan Ulery you have to enable the reverb on each channel: func + reverb , then activate it on the channel wanted
thank you so much!

Jonathan Ulery you're welcome man! It's a nice machine
shit the warning was right
rave.
nice groove man, but the clap is ... :(
did not feel the need to dance.
Good job!
