I tested this lacing technique (minus the high arch technique) out on my Chuck Taylors, the Converse All-Stars high-cut shoes, and surprisingly, they do actually feel pretty good, and I’m glad that I got back into watching this video, can’t wait to try this on my new pair of tactical boots. Thank you guys for posting this vid, it really helps me out!
Glad to read this! It helped me quite a lot too, since I have pretty weak ankles and this supports them better. Happy I didn't have an ankle twist in several years now 😆 I Viper
Good, it will definitely help. Because I have quite weak ankles myself and have had them rolled over a lot of times in the passed. But ever since I've learned this method and have put it to use, I never had any injuries anymore. | Viper out
Thanks! And yes it does a lot. In my personal case for example, I have pretty weak ankles and twisting them was quite a common problem for me. Ever since I used this method it never occured again.
@@ReconBrothers Thanks Bro! by the way, I just purchased a VFC MP7 A1 GBB. But I dot find any infos online for a complete takedown if I want to change or upgrade my toy. Cheers & stay heathy
When I was in the Aussie Army reserves years ago they encouraged us to do a form of bar lacing instead of cross cross lacing. Not sure about these days.
@@danielney6 Personally I like the high versions, because they offer more stability. Meaning less chance of ankle injuries, especially under load. This is good for me because I used to have rather weak ankles. My brother doesn't have this problem and is still using his lower height pair from 8 years ago.
Everybody, listen up. Every step is important. However, I have a question. How to relock (double loop) when you try to wear your lowa again? Viper: Please tell me.
We're not military either, we learned this from professionals in the shoe/outdoor industry. It works great for us, so that's why we made the video. I Viper
Reconbrothers. Btw love your Callsign dude. And I do tie my boots this way. I’m just saying that U.S Marines do it differently. That’s all. | Tennessee

Thanks for this helpful video!
You're welcome! And thanks fot the comment.
My laces i actually cut, so they have a foot part totally separate from the ankle part. 👍👍👍👍
Thank you
Welcome! | Viper
Great !The video is benefited for me 🎉
Very nice instruction! Great video!
You's got awsome video now I know how to tie boot lace 😖.

Not sure about these days.
I use US Military AR-670-1 combat boots for airsoft
Really nice content and advice ! :D
That can be deadly very easily.
Make sure they have the proper length and are properly tucked in.
We don't need additional hazards as it is.
Finaly a helpful video👌
Glad to hear! I Viper
I was Marine Recon, what army are you guys with?
We were or are not in the armed forces. But we do train and work together with with people that are or have been in specialized European units.
Nice trick lacing ..
Thank you! Cheers! I Viper
Thanks Boss
Any time XD I Viper
The "no-worry-knot" is actually a bitch to tie.
Nice vídeo and nice watch .
G shock??
Thanks man, and yes it's a G-shock but they don't make this model anymore. They've already released a million new models in the meantime. 😆 | Viper
Que modelo es ?
interesting.
Indeed, did you try it out already? I Instinct
Would it work the same on an 8 inch boot?
Yes, I recently started using 8 inch Lowa's and it's exactly the same. | Viper

Undo them and do it again.
I feel like I can fracture somebody's toes, I hope wheelchairs are cheap.
I cant even do it how do i do it
The video shows how to do it. If it goes to quickly you can try our blog: reconbrothers.com/training/tie-tactical-hiking-boots/ I Instinct
God damn, a bachelor of eng. is needed to the tie the boot😅👍👍
Was it that difficult? English is not our native language, so it shouldn't be that complex to understand. 😅 I Viper
They’re a little hard to take off...
Rather that, than a rolled-over or broken ankle. I Viper

Ugh, that intro. Great video though. Just need to watch it a hundred more times to figure it out. LOL.
I just watched a U.S. Marine tie his boot and his was completely different. I understand your not in the U.S. so it may be different.
