RashaadRahh im in track but when i run i dont feel fast enough and my eyes always turn black and i always got cramp in my stomuch and tryouts are almost coming at my school
BlsbInDET - it's actually very simple, but many people can't (won't) do it because it involves working your job a lot, living a minimal life style and not going out partying. If you also have a hobby that earns money (mowing lawns in the summer, reselling clothes/shoes, etc.) it will help. Once your done you'll finish school with no or minimal debt.
Honestly I feel community college is better because being in a university it's some people you have to pay much more meaning like tuitions, loans, and have a hard time paying it back but I'm not knocking no one hustle at all but in may will be my 1st year I'm a sophomore now but when finished my hustle will expand somewhere else maybe out the us but good luck to everyone that's willing to be safe and stay out of trouble
Honestly for the classes between community college and university it all just depends on what you are majoring which could make the classes a bit complicated. I just transferred from community college to my new university and ya I agree that some professors are easy or difficult because during my time at community college, I had a biology professor who legit came from UCLA and taught at my community college but my god the way he taught was legit felt like I'm studying from UCLA even though I live in VA. One thing I didn't think you mentioned are the people, OMG idk if this is other community college but at mine, the people were so antisocial literally to meet people you have to know someone, kinda similar to the last two years of high school and when I visited my university for orientation everyone is so friendly!
Dan Logrono I agree everyone in a community college is anti social. I have a year left of it, and I can't wait to leave and transfer to a university. Feel like community college is good for the education. But it's gets lonely when u miss out on so many things University can offer.
Kpop Maniac Exactly! Cuz I will start at my university on August and I should be done by summer of 2019, and it's not enough time to like enjoy it but who knows lol and ya since I live in VA most people at my community college are very antisocial and it sorta makes you feel antisocial as well, but once you go to your orientation you will see a huge difference in people
Nice tips. Just like you, im attending a community college but I plan on transferring to the University of Wisconsin. Also looking forward to your how to graduate debt free video.
My first two years I was at a community college. Then once I finished my credits, since the first two years imo are basically regular stuff math, reading, etc. I transferred to a out of state university since I still wanted the ‘college experience’. the last two years were the years that I did what I wanted to major in. I saved a lot of money on the first two years! Now I’m in the middle of finishing my PhD.
Hi, I wanted to ask. What was your college program at your community college? I'm planning to either go to a four year college here in my state or take a risk and apply for community college and apply to an out of state university but I'm scared because I might not have all my credits transferred. What college degree/ program should I take to assure that I will be able to enter as a junior in an out of state or in-state university?
I could tell you worked very hard on this videos just from the editing, information & video quality as a whole. This was awesome. I myself took the University route & stay with my parents. I commute & the University is 20-30min away from my house. I'm happy about the choice I made & that I didn't stay on campus bc I saved a lot of money. I didn't get that on campus experience which is a must if you can but I did what was best for me & saved a lot of money
You are a smart man Jay. I moved on campus my last year of college and I can personally tell you it's not worth doing if you have to go into debt or struggle financially to do it. Stay making smart moves bro! They add up in the long run. +Jay Make
Good vid that has some valuable info because I'm transferring to the University of Texas in Austin from a community college in Dallas. I came from your wave videos because I'm trying to get into the wave game and I really never knew you had another TH-cam channel until you mentioned it in your waving videos. One of my favorite TH-camrs by far mane and keep up the good work!
This was a really good video. The one thing I would add is the difference between students of community college and University like age differences and motives. But other than that this was really good.
I wish I went to a HBCU to be able to give the differences. That is a great video idea though. I think I should do a colab with someone to make that video a reality
And just my experience, I go to a very small community college in Pittsburgh and I know mostly focused people! It's easy to find people with the same drive because there are a lot of people who are older who take it seriously as well as people my age in their 20s who study and work hard. Yes there are slackers but my experience here is there are so many hard workers!
Being a veteran I recommend starting at a community college first. Way cheaper and smaller classes. When I got out thr Army I enrolled in a university bad mistake for me. I have now transfered out to a community college.
The main branch of the CC in my city has A LOT of space. I'm going there for only one class then I'm transferring to another CC in a different city and that is a lot smaller and I'm sad

Would you say that community college is a lot easier and university a lot higher? I never have struggled with school, but I was homeschooled in highschool and don't know what to expect?

Universities in Belgium are bigger than the Colleges but not like the universities in America. We don't have gyms and oases :O Wish I could experience an university like in America.
For me I’m starting at a community college like right by my house for around 4K/yr. Then I’m transferring to a 4yr that isn’t a live on campus so it’s only like 9k/yr. So I’d be paying less than 30k for 4 years of college.
How long did it take you to get your bachelors degree starting from community? Did you start right after high school? Im trying to transfer to state but since my major is nursing it requires a lot of classes. :(
I personally spent 3yrs in community college and received two Associate Degrees and I spent just shy of 3yrs at the UNi to obtain my bachelors degree. +JayRecords
Thank you. But what about people like me. I'm getting older(33) I want to go back to school. I did go to college, but I had to drop out a few years ago. Do you think it's too late for me?...
@RashaadRahh I'ma sophomore and I go to a high school where we're always transitioning. So I'd figured this would be good for practicing transition to college but how significant is the transition to college (as far as universities)?
Usually it's a big transition, but the schools make it as easy as possible. They do freshman orientations that serve the purpose to let the incoming freshman know the basics of what to expect and how to deal with certain things. Yay makes it easier so it won't be too bad for you +Trill Meech
Going to Community College is NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF. I myself was skeptical of going to community college at first after I graduated high school because I also thought it would be like high school again. I went to community college because universities are expensive and I don't want to waste money on things that I could get for much much cheaper. I had a part time schedule on my 1st semester because I wanted to see what the classes are like there. Turns out, it wasn't bad at all. Some of my friends from high school also go to the same college as I do and I met a few new friends. Plus, I had classmates who are way older than me (I had about three classmates who are parents themselves) . My teachers were pretty cool too as most of the teaches I had are really nice and they can teach well. I mean isn't the purpose of going to college and universities in the first place is to learn and get a degree? Not to party, not to mess around, and not to underestimate. If you want to party and meet new people, then you can just do that elsewhere (It doesn't have to be in a college campus). I right now live with my aunt because she lives near the college that I go to.I have independence from my aunt as long as I agree to help her around the house (I do the cleaning and I pay for all the food) and I stay out of trouble lol. My aunt is really nice too and I at least have someone to talk to if something is wrong with me and I stay at my parents house on weekends. Don't let anyone put you down just because you go to community college, but hey, we have the same type of classes and we still have to work hard either way and yeah, I go back to school in August and I'm still very young (I just turned 20 on Monday) My final words are don't go to a college or university just for the sake of it as in don't go to a university just for the experience alone
HypeBeast what the!?😅 Coincidence? What majors did u choose? I applied to Computer Science in both but got admitted as Undeclared into UCSD (I must be lucky)

stayhumble No, not at all. A lot of people usually transfer from a CC if they didn't get into a school they wanted to go to or they can't afford it at the moment.
XYZ Films Yes and no. Usually people who go to community college aren't really that smart, but there are always a lot of exceptions. My friend was top of his class at everything in a CC but was still not as smart as a ucla student.
Sounds like you’ll be eligible for all types of government foster child benefits, depending on your age. Idk your situation or if you have a legal guardian but look into that. Orphan/foster child laws/adopted child laws.
Community college is supposed to be 2 years of course work before you transfer to the 4 year where you do your last two years there before you graduate with your bachelors degree +Rayshawn yts Parker
If you get a scholarship that will make it super affordable, do your thing and go to the university. As long as you won't have to go into debt. Rayshawn yts Parker
RashaadRahh another question i have. What is one site you would recommend using when selling items online? I didnt wnt to use ebay because i hear about a lot of scams like buyers being able to reverse payments. Ive also noticed tht amazon has high fees
Why i felt like dis was only promoting 4year colleges its not even real feed back, but university’s have dorms so thats why they invest in garden and bigger areas cuz u live there …..i don’t wanna say duh but - But im glad people are actually tryna help with choosing college fit for u well literally everyone except him cuz this is just promoting a 4 year college and was obviously scripted….
SMC is an outlier. It's rare to find a CC that's similar in enrollment size. The smc campus is so compact too unlike most universities which have much more space. +Luis De Jesus
RashaadRahh You should make a video regarding student loans man. I'm gonna be at smc for 3 years and I plan to transfer into Cal. Good work on the videos tho
Most people who don't have wealthy parents that are willing to pay for their living expenses have a job. Once you go away to college you're half way into the real. It's smart to get a job and to gain work experience. +Nate Robertson
RashaadRahh yeah I'm only 8th grade thinking about collage and stuff I'm planning on like part time job or somtjkng but my parents are very wealthy to..
Yeah, if they don't mind paying for your expenses, I recommend you let them. Don't just be a bum while they pay for everything. Use al that extra free time to try to build your own business or do something productive that will lead to you being self sufficient in terms of finances. That's just my thought though. +Nate Robertson
RashaadRahh yeah my older brother and his best friend actually set up there own (yard work bussinus) like basically cleaning yards hanging up Christmas lights etc odd jobs around are town and he has been doing quite well he's grade 11 btw

XYZ Films Yes and no. Usually people who go to community college aren't really that smart, but there are always a lot of exceptions. My friend was top of his class at everything in a CC but was still not as smart as a ucla student.
That campus is fucking beautiful wtf
Why tf you so fine ? And why tf she staring so hard 😂😂 4:36
So community college is cheaper but smaller
take a shot every time he says "chill" or "ya know what I mean?"
What if I don't have parents what should I do? What advice do you have
Sounds like you’ll be eligible for all types of government foster child benefits, depending on your age. Idk your situation or if you have a legal guardian but look into that. Orphan/foster child laws/adopted child laws.
ya dorm tour !

Community college is supposed to be 2 years of course work before you transfer to the 4 year where you do your last two years there before you graduate with your bachelors degree

what if u get scholarship your first year can u leave
If you get a scholarship that will make it super affordable, do your thing and go to the university. As long as you won't have to go into debt.

RashaadRahh another question i have. What is one site you would recommend using when selling items online? I didnt wnt to use ebay because i hear about a lot of scams like buyers being able to reverse payments. Ive also noticed tht amazon has high fees
I recommend you sell your own brand using a platform such as woo commerce or Shopify

RashaadRahh thanks for replying. Your videos are helpful and motivating, keep grinding
Do a room tour
Why i felt like dis was only promoting 4year colleges its not even real feed back, but university’s have dorms so thats why they invest in garden and bigger areas cuz u live there …..i don’t wanna say duh but -
But im glad people are actually tryna help with choosing college fit for u well literally everyone except him cuz this is just promoting a 4 year college and was obviously scripted….
Opinion.
do college tips
Smc is packed as shit man. They got more students than UCLA
I wana go to the Oasis! 😂
Go take a tour there one day
So do u have a job while in collage/university?

RashaadRahh yeah my older brother and his best friend actually set up there own (yard work bussinus) like basically cleaning yards hanging up Christmas lights etc odd jobs around are town and he has been doing quite well he's grade 11 btw
