Every white man on that committee was recalling their OWN behavior during THIS entire opening statement! This wasn’t about protecting Thomas...THIS was about protecting. THEMSELVES. All, if not most of them had behaved that way at the OFFICE!

Why do you have to make this about race? Are you a racist? If you have to bring the race angle into this, then the only conclusion to be drawn is that the Democratic Party drummed up false accusations to get a black man fired because he refused to kowtow their line.

Why not believe her testimony? She had everything to lose personally and professionally by making her Thomas related experiences public at the hearings. She was forthright with Thomas privately when approached for his own self-gratifications. It's a darn shame she didn't have the opportunity to record his conversations. There were those particular men that felt they could put any woman under their thumb by putting them in uncomfortable professional conversations strictly because they had no fears of retribution and secure in their position of power over the woman.

Why don't we print the names of ALL JOHNS and PIMPS after prostitution and sex-trafficking arrests? People he has worked with speak extremely highly of him. I don't think we should ruin the reputation and careers of people based on accusations alone. Evidence is needed. At least Anita seems to have some recollection of the events surrounding these incidents.. the 2 women accusing Kavanaugh don't remember anything worthwhile. No times, no dates, no witnesses that back their stories, etc...

Perhaps it’s tempting to assume others would handle thing in the same way that we would but that’s not getting anyone closer to the truth. We all have different backstories that influence how we react to things. Different temperaments. Different values. As a young black woman in a barely post civil rights era and before the time of anti-sexual harassment, she most certainly would’ve had to put up with a variety of behaviors or comments that no one would have to today. In order to succeed, a woman would’ve likely had to compromise certain values and standards in,order to move onward and upward. That was all part of the unspoken game in that era. With all that stacked against her and then to have to subject oneself to the awkward and rude questions-NO WAY SHE LIED! She kept things to herself thinking it was ugly but she got past it but sacrificed her self and her reputation to try to prevent other women from being subject to final rulings by a misogynist. Her behavior is heroic and self-sacrificing. I hope you’re able to continue in your healing.

This is a man of my race that everyday I now truly believe isn’t worthy of being a Supreme Court justice from his obscures view of the law and his totally negative votes toward anything dealing with equal rights for minority’s and woman. He’s a disgrace in missing several opportunities to place tie breaking votes in his past as justice for minority’s issues. Ms Hill obviously knew the hell that she would have to endure in bringing out his sexists character , but knew it was worth the effort to keep him off the Supreme Court ,as the women that have come forward today in reference to judge Kavanaugh and their attempt to block this sexiest and drunk from being a Supreme Court Justice. We failed to heed the warning then let’s not make the same mistake this time.

    1. Purchase a Phone that has a slot for mini SD card. add the SD card to the slot. Preferably around min 32gb if phone carries this max amount. Higher the better. In phone settings have pictures and recordings to be saved to the SD card.
This phone does not need to be simmed to a phone network.
    2. If at a time you know you are going to be harrassed by a person. Wear shirt that has a top pocket size enough to carry the phone.
    3. Before hand put the phone video record the put phone in top pocket camera eye facing out.
    4. Engage in conversation or just let the culprit just do their harrass ing.
Then you will have your proof to authorities.
