off for a walk to wark will watch the rest when i get back. well done nick . you know its remote when the goats are mooching around. that sunset would have been a belter. had the same conditions in wark forest today & a deer just missing the van as he crossed the road from field to field as we dropped down to chollerford.cheers.
That was a tough but "a well worth it walk"..some top scenery in there..love that wooden structure you were Blakehope Nick..i had never seen that before.Had a look on the maps after i watched this to see the location in the kielder/border area..be nice to check it out in future .Great stuff ATB Mark.
Good work Nick looks very similar to Glendhu Hill country ? The falls would look impressive in spate I would reckon .I liked the structure at Blakelaw and those skies atb Dave...
Good guide for that hike Nick. 2-1 to England ....injury time winner again lol yeah sheep were more valuable than people ( Highland Clearances ). Alot of the time its the terrain your walking through rather than the distance that makes it a hard hike.ATB
Great video mate. What a weird, but also beautiful, structure at Blakehope Nick. I wonder why they built it like that though? Thanks for taking us along. Atb Shaun
Good bog balancing Nick. Hard going but heck of a lot of fun. Hey I'm not sure about guys fighting with swords and chopping heads off but that overhang is classic sea erosion. I find that totally fascinating to see that. As for water the falls were having a day off I reckon but would be great in full spate. A nice bit of hiking that Nick. Enjoyed it all the way mate Stoat, sculpture view and all. Take care. Mark
Well marra thanks for that, proper enjoyed ya adventure. Another place youve got me intrested in ! atb for the coming year from cumberland, jon👍
Tough gig that. The Borders certainly have a brutal past.
Cheers
