Opinions are divided regarding the order in which a moisturizer and a sunscreen should be applied. Chemical sunscreen should be always applied first because it needs to get absorbed first in order to do its job, while physical sunscreens should be good when applied on top of a moisturizer. But then some dermatologists say that moisturizer can dilute the sunscreen and make it less effective so on... Anyways, sunscreen should be a priority, and the best option would be to get a sunscreen that is moisturizing enough so that you don't have to layer. But if you still have to layer, I would apply chemical sunscreen first and wait for it to get absorbed completely and then put moisturizer on top; and if you are using a physical sunscreen, apply moisturizer first wait for it to get absorbed completely, and then put the sunscreen. No, they don't have such properties. Nivea can leave a bit of a white cast when applied but that's all, it's not removing hyperpigmentation.
