This video has no interest and I do not not understand why why do not we see the final result of the special effects, because inevitably there special effects, that is filmed on green background. Zero. disappointed
On its own this music maybe not so bad, but for behind the scenes it makes everything so boring. While they have fun on set it feels like everything is so sad and unprofessional. So I totally agree - terrible choice of music indeed.
All these dozens of crew members and equipment and green studio hire. Why not have some camera mounts and shoot it for real on the road. Real sunlight or city lights if you want night time. Just a few people in the crew. Why spend a million for a single scene, when you can do exactly the same for 1/20 of the cost.
It could be that the cost of filming on streets or on location is higher, but you are right in that some of these shots could have been made on a house whithout expending too much. I gess it's just the trend to use a lot of green screen for filming these days.
That depends. Shooting real on the road might require permit, roads blocked off and dealings with street people and officials, the variables are way higher if you shoot on location along with sound and weather elements. Real sunlight? What if the perfect location does not even have it? Really it depends on what you want in control and the most control you get is in a green studio.
reticulan5 I doubt you could do that cheaper then green screen. From what I seen of the videos, they have some high tech background images in it, your not doing that cheaper then a picture and a green screen.
reticulan5 Because this is safer,(saves money) You can have the talents themselves do it. And who knows maybe their being put into a world that is nothing like ours, (Apocalypse, other planet, future city, different time period,) Green screen is much cheaper than constructing all of that. It's it's much more comfortable for the actors. Also you would actually need many more people if this was done outside because of location scouting and permits, travel, craft services, trailers, etc.
Lindsy was in supernatural as death. Guys give em a break its their artistic design. they rather have controlled environments. I myself shoot variations but do it more real then controlled but that's just me. but be thankful think of the jobs hes opening up. this video looks promising.
