- ROSSINGTON YOUTH CLUB
So, as you know, I've been asking for a youth club in #Rossington for such a long time now, ever since I was first elected.
And this was the place that it was meant to be happening. Now, there has been quite a lot of work done on that, but every month I have a
meeting with @Doncaster Council, and it seems that there's some legals that still need sorting.
But don't think that I'm not trying. I'll keep on pressing.
The young people of Rossington want a youth club, they deserve a youth club. And I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that they get a youth club.
So watch this space, everybody. I'm sorry it's taking so long. We will get there.

You are a great man
Thank you for speaking about men’s issues
what for? haven't we learnt that these places open up, don't get used much after a year and end up being left again. no one in the modern generation (no youth that is) wants to hangout in a youth club
In 2010, Doncaster council spent roughly £7 million pounds a year on youth services and the annual budget now stands at roughly £500,000,” Mayor Jones said.
“It’s a sad reality of over 10 years of austerity and Conservative cuts. Doncaster now has 28 per cent less to spend than it did in 2010 and that equates to a pot of over £105 million
You might be better lobbying your own party that's been in power 13 years for more funding from central government. I'll leave it with you.
You must be furious with the fact that your govt have closed 750 of them over the last 14 years. Looking forward to hearing your criticism of this in Parliament.
Who goes to youth clubs anymore though?
