Hi Mendana. It might have looked that way but Wendy loves sailing more than I do, if that's possible. She grew up on the water as a sailing instructor and between the two of us I'm the just the mechanic, but she's the one that spends hours trimming sails. I like to think I can "feel" a correctly trimmed sail, probably from many years of sailboarding, but I have to admit that I sometimes get lazy and don't wring that 1/2 knot of extra speed out of the boat like Wendy does.

Hi Norman. Indeed, Talisman is feeling spritely these days. She's taking a rest in a nice cradle in Preveza, Greece for the winter while we satisfy the Greek government's desire for us to get lost for 6 months (residency vs. tourism), so all is well in the world. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
What do you need for a yacht race? Two boats within view of each other traveling in the same direction. Also, the genoa looked nice and full and set up perfectly for that champagne sailing.
