- How to fix iPhone screen doesn't work (flashing green). If your display doesn't respond to touch or display properly, you may repair with these steps. Used iPhone 8 Plus but should be the same regardless of iOS 12 device.
It worked,so far so good ,thank you!!!. The flashing is gone but the stable green color on the top right corner is still there. If there is anything I can do please advice cause I can’t see my battery,and network status. I have Xs Max. Mine fell, really hard:(

same! the pixels are burnt on the top right and it also blocks my battery percentage and network status.
i tripped and it hit the edge, yes i do have a protector screen but it didn’t even crack somehow, only the pixels on the screen are burnt, now i want to ask if are the pixels a seperate part or are they a part of the screen?
Thanks. I did not drop my phone but think it may have been in a wet bag for a bit. When I tried the normal restart it sounded my SOS. Your tips got the screen to turn on so I can use it but now the screen is faded with lots of layers of my screen. It is definitely screwed up.

Update: i had an samsung s7edge but my phone stopped working after flashing so i now have a new phone

@Shyann Haggblom lmfaoo it helped me for a week but then it totaly stopped working so dont overdo your phone to much while trying out youtube vids on your phone, just be sure to make a back up on your icloud or samsungcloud

This happened to me yesterday, when my phone screen turned green, and then stayed black. Apparently it was still working, but I couldn't see anything and I managed to call 911. There was nothing I could do after the alarm noise ended and it connected me with a 911 agent. I explained what happened, but they still sent out an officer just to make sure that everything was actually ok. It was so embarassing, and when I was attempting to hard reset the phone, it called 911 AGAIN. I told the agent that it was me again and that I was attempting to fix my broken phone and he just laughed and said, "ah you again." At that point I just gave up and threw the phone in a drawer.

The issue here is the display and a change of brightness your magical solution is likely that the phone hasn’t changed brightness yet. If you turn off auto brightness in accessibility and then make sure the auto functions in the display are turned off you can usually surpass it. However, you’ll eventually need a new phone as your led is going out.
well I gave the phone to someone and it's worked perfectly every day since a year later. no signs of the led going out.

My battery died and before it went off it did the green flikerring. It's still flikerring until now, tried the volume up and volume down the logo does come on but it's still flickering green.

I just had the same problem but instead of green, mine is white. I tried hard resetting it but it doesn't work. I didn't touched it for like 5 minutes and after that it returns to normal again.
mine only happens when the brightness reaches a certain point, it has to be basically all the way down and it still does it time to time

I had that issue with my iPad. Suddenly, when having just 6% battery it started to blink green and did not respond when pressing the start/wake button. I used your method and everything was back normal.

I dropped my phone last two days and yesterday green screen suddenly appears on my phone. Idk it is due to the dropping or my phone just updating itself to a new ios (which I was not aware of). I resort to reset the phone without backing up (thinking it'd be able to restore to the factory setting and the green screen issue will resolve) and I regret for doing so cause all the data are now gone. I manage to do the reset yesterday cause at some point I could see through the green screen (by using a flashlight from the other phone). After the reset, I'm not able to see through the screen anymore and it is all in green now.
Maybe I just need to wait for a few days and get back to the phone. Will update how it goes.

Umm... I can't get that waste of time back... Please avoid that video... His issue was not resolved. He claims to resolve the issue you put it to the side for months and get another phone... Great.

nope. I said put it aside for a few days. mine has worked every day since then. it's definitely a fix for some and mine is 100% working now without any issues.

What was the solution now, really? Doing magic soft reset stuff and then saying "yeye, put it aside and some wonderful little fairy will make everything work again after 4 months". Dont fool people srsly...
It worked for me and has ever since, no issues at all. Why would I make that up? Lol. If it doesn't work after a few days then bring it to Apple, but it's definitely worth trying first.

Hey man i have a problem with my phone. As I watch anime on websites my screen randomly flashes green and there are words written on it with a pink color and a weird font. I do not know what the words are because the screen flashes too quickly. I do notice though, that the words are different each time. Do you have any idea as to what is wrong?

Yes, worked for me and haven't had any issues since then. Might have been some water inside which is why.

@@techtips plugged into a charger? or off a charger? and did it just power on or you had to do the reset?
don't plug it in, I just set it aside for a few days and then turned it back on/ charged after and it worked perfectly. my wife uses the phone now, and it hasn't had a single issue since the green screen issue. this may not work for everyone, but it did work for my model. also, it's possible it has water inside so for the next few days put in a bowl of rice if you're able to.
@@techtips i know i didnt drop or get near water. literally was on a charger and then started doing this when i walked back to the phone!! so random!
yeah I don't think mine got wet either, but I did read some comments that people think in their case it was due to water damage. at the very least it couldn't hurt putting in rice, but either way I'd set it aside for a few days (not plugged in).

my screen keeps doing this😐 i got it fixed a while ago cuz i broke it and idk if it has something to do with that, but when i turn my phone off and on (not a hard reset) it fixes it but it comes back a couple minutes later. imma reply to my comment and say if this works :)

what worked for me was turning it off and letting it sit for a few days, then turning back on. no guarantee that'll work but it did for me.

Did you put it in water? That's the reason for some people which is why it's best to turn off for a few days. You can also try putting in rice to drain the water quicker
@@techtips this phone are good in water (I always watch my iphone with water, so water had nothing to do with this). That thing of the rice is a myth
@@tangoingthekitchen I'm aware that recent iPhones are IP68 or 67 water resistant. that doesn't mean waterproof and it does occasionally happen where water gets inside. It's rare but it does happen. I'm just telling you what I've found to be the most likely reason for most people. If you don't want to turn it off that's your call, but I don't know what else to tell you. Maybe bring it to Apple.

huh? watch the entire video, it took 3 days. this isn't my daily phone as I have an iPhone 11 (and others) but I use it as a secondary work phone and it works perfectly.
