I bought one used a few years ago which would stop making any sounds after warming up. The problem was casued by many of the lower value electrolytic capacitors being bad which I confirmed with an LCR meter. Changing them fixed the issue. I suspect most Super Bass Stations will need these replaced eventually depending on usage so if anyone else has wierd problems with theirs, I suggest checking the capacitors. Probably best just to change them all anyway as a preventative measure.
Good and useful video!
Thanks, Brahim; glad you found it helpful.
The biggest surprise: no battery to replace. Innovative design by Novation for a 90's era synth!
Aaargh mine is dead and i don't know what to do or fix
May want to try a new power supply. Also check for loose connection near the power jack. Was there an incident preceding the SBS's death?

Thanks for sharing your experience, Thrax. Excellent suggestion for this, and many other synths of the era.
