Aiming to run the Canberra Marathon for my first marathon next year. Goals are: Finish, finish under 4 hours, and not look too stupid for a photo.

Wonderful presentation, but the running is slow, slow, slow. The winning time for men is 2:32 and for women it is 2:52. Come on Australia you can do better than these pedestrian, slow times.
Haha. It's a tough course and they had some challenging conditions but it'd be great to see the course record broken next year.
You’re right. It’s not a fast course so sub elites and elites don’t bother coming for it. There’s also very small prize money. No incentive.
