Asmodeus on the other hand runs entire lust based companies, yet makes more because he promotes safe and consentual sex, which is good for business but also makes lust something to be proud of. A motivation that can be practiced in good faith and well mannered
Once I saw something that i believe is entirely right. Valentino represents lust, but a dangerous non-consented type. Asmodeus represents lust between two people that is healthy and consensual, since it is normal in most cases to have a feeling of lust around your significant other
Different clientel. Asmodeus makes products for native born demons and persumably humans, which aren't all evil, meanwhile valentino makes products for sinners, which are all evil in some way.
Because Lust is not about abuse, non consensual sex is considered assault because it's done to actively harm someone else and nothing about that is lustful.. it's all about power and control. It would be more fitting to say Val is a wrathful and greedy demon instead of a lustful one, the fact that he produces porn is irrelevant.

It's great that MANY people dislike and loath Val, as that was the character he was built to be, Viv and the team did astoundingly with his characterization, and with the relationships he has with the primary cast just makes it all the more fitting. I say he is a nigh perfectly orchestrated character for how he was supposed to be. And I like it when creators make characters who are menaces and ruthless, because people in real life can be cruel, and having these characters as a reminder of such truly opens up to look on ones morals and see how far they are from that and possibly try to stray away from it, and can bring one to reflect actions of their own. Props to Valintino as a character, he can truly show people they aren't as low as they think, because there are characters like him.

Currently don't mistake Alastor for an ally. According to husk, he is just as bad as Valentino. He may destroy the V's with Husk but not because of pity to Angel (unless there is some character developpement)
