Etiquette question: Should I thumbs down a video on this kind of channel if I don't care for it or not? I've found a LOT great glitch/sound effect music here and I wouldn't want to hurt the algorithm.
My personal view on this is that YT doesn't give you an option to inform it why you downvoted or that some video is not relevant to your tastes... The algorithm doesn't train itself to learn my personal likes and dislikes based on my upvotes and show me such content, so I really don't see it doing anything else except damage the content/channel which you downvote to. I'd say, just leave it alone.
The Psychedelic Muse is a good channel. Maybe elaborate what you are looking for in more detail, so we can help you in finding what you need, instead of trying to influence the algortihm? When you say glitch, I think of Fennesz. Is that something for you? Or maybe rather Ulrich Schnauss?
