I think it is, theres lots of content that keep you playing without using money. You can get really strong and rare items, shikigami, skin, and stuff without having to pay but it will be a bit grindy and may take a bit more time. Still, the story is super fun and interesting. All events can be completed without money too (unless you want more special items)
