Sir, this series you’ve put out on the afc championship game has been great. When it’s all said and done I’d love to hear your overall opinion on what happened on those first two drives. Was the KC scheme that good? Were the ravens complacent? Did Mahomes just make every read? Very interested to hear your opinion on that.

Thank you Thomas.. I do have some thoughts but am in the process of digging in to the game more. Hopefully I'll garner something(s) worth pointing out as I finish. I appreciate you watching

No...the game was just rigged because of Taylor Swift, apparently. 😅

isn’t this considered a banjo coverage

Thanks Patek. Banjo as a coverage is generally a backside (weak) call and "switch" is a triangle strong or frontside call. The receivers crossing in the video does have elements of "banjo technique" but the assignments matched are the same. In a true Banjo coverage, (as opposed to the technique of banjoeing the routes), the safety is a pure half field guy. The designation as, "switch" does not have to do with the receivers crossing although the name might suggest it does. I believe the name is to distinguish it from "Bracket" which is a near twin except for the Apex alignment. Hope that answers and makes sense. If I can find proper clips I would like to do a video on the differences between 2 read/ Bracket and switch. Thanks for watching and for the question!
