Love this video. Thank you. I began my channel in 2020, unaware that about a month later I would go into psychosis. I don’t blame the tarot, but the change in brain chemistry, combined with the symbolism is tarot and good old algorithms, made YT a bit of a dangerous place. 3.5 years into recovery, and bringing myself back with a combination of things I’ve learned previously in therapy, a lot of self reflection, improving lifestyle and creating boundaries and eventually, after a couple of years, through picking up my cards again.
I’m all about using tarot to connect to your own wisdom and inner guidance and want to reflect that in every aspect of what I’m doing, to the point that I’m likely to relaunch under a more self-empowering channel name in the future.
I appreciated the tips on reading ethically. I’m with you on everything you said, but as I explore both sides of how tarot can work in a psychological sense, these reminders were timely. Thank you 🙏 ❤

Oh dear, spiritual psychosis is very real and very scary! Glad you're okay now!

It's a minor ick, but I can't stand the really aggressive shuffling where cards go flying everywhere, and that's what they read rather than an intentional draw.

Ahhh yes I know exactly the type you're talking about.

They don't even shuffle properly. They only shuffle card by card reducing the scope of the reading. It's very odd.

Agreed. I prefer tarot card meditation prompt videos more.

Everyone has their reasons and I totally understand. I definitely feel like I joined TH-cam at the wrong time as my channel hasn’t really grown in 2 years. Maybe this is why as people don’t resonate anymore, but that’s okay. I’ll stay subbed to you as I genuinely think you’re awesome so I definitely won’t be taking this personally ❤
I also completely agree with you on tarot “readers” who do videos on politics and court and the news etc. I cannot stand it and it upsets me seeing these people get thousands upon thousands of views when I struggle to hit 50 sometimes 😅 also the ones who talk about sexual fantasies or “someone you love will die or go to prison if you ignore this” 😤🤯😤🤯 - I’m sure there’s things I cover that many people don’t agree with and that’s okay. I just wanted to put this comment out there with love ❤

Oh I hope it's not taken personally, I didn't have any specific channels that this was aimed at. Collective readings just haven't resonated for me personally.
And yes, with your second point I agree 100% - the algorithm, the way the internet is set up as a whole is geared towards sensationalist and often unethical content drawing the views.

I hadn't watched any of his videos before, so I just did.
      a) didn't resonate
      b) felt drawn out, it was a '3 cards' video that ended up being over 10 cards as he kept pulling for clarification with of course lots of ads in between.
      c) he sounds lovely though and knows his cards... I just can't get behind readings like this
