Today there was a shooting at this school. It was a truly traumatic experience and he was shot in the leg, he is luckily ok and he saved multiple people. 2 students were shot as well. I'm just glad hes alright

This reminds me of when I was in middle school. I had a teacher named Mrs. Bednards she was an amazing teacher and friend and literally the whole school loved her. Torwards the end of the year she announced that she will be retiring from teaching and working with her husband with there insurance company. The middle school was a very big one with 1500+ kids and *everyone* lined up at her door to give her a hug and say goodbye. I was crying so much as well as all the students and Mrs. Bednards. She knew everyone’s name and it took about an hour for everyone to go in and say goodbye. All the busses were delayed because no one got on. The halls were filled with kids in a line that stretched throughout the building. She didn’t expect for this to happen, but I’m glad she got to see the impact she had on everyone. I still remember that day clearly. I hope she is doing great and I wish her the best. Ps I’m in university now and it was about 6 year ago. I also gave her a tree I wonder if it grew and she still has it 😂

I am a 46 year old woman with 60% hearing loss and man, I know how must feel! My parents gifted me my hearing aids because they are so expensive. I am so happy for this gentleman! In tears of joy.

As a former school custodian , i can tell you it feels good to see one of us recognized , not by the media or secret santa , but by the kids. Most kids think of it as a low rate job but it takes a lot of work to keep up with everything and to make sure they're safe.
God has blessed the people of Idaho. They are some of the most friendly, kind and wonderful people I have ever met. My wife and I visited this past Summer and have since put our home up for sale in order to move there, buy a home and retire there. She loved everyone at the school fellow teachers, Maintenance staff, and the administration. 6 months after retiring she passed away very suddenly. Seeing other educators reminds me of her journey. She was helping my sister & nephews before she passed & I've taken over that as much as I can, but its very hard. Seeing stories like this give me hope and faith in God. Blessed Be

I know several western states where employees can't say Merry Christmas and at my place of employment they banned Christmas Trees and use of the word Merry Christmas. They are teaching in schools to say "Happy Holidays" because "Merry Christmas" might be offensive to some people who don't believe in Jesus. Sooooo its not BS.
