History: I was a full time ‘gypsy soul’ nomad working, playing and traveling.. living life large first in an Acura sedan then in a Toyota Highlander SUV I fondly call ‘Happy Haven’. I was on the road full time for over 3 years.. traveling extensively throughout the USA.. thus far 50,000 miles, 22 National Parks, countless monuments, capital buildings, libraries and small town USA. One of my favorite things to do in this nomad lifestyle is to drive long distances and explore scenic places as well as visit small towns.. I have worked in Washington, Utah and Montana while living in my car to save money to buy my tiny home. This is the nicest minivan buildout I've seen. I missed though, did she say anything about a cooler or a minifridge? I'd probably need that. But this is absolutely ideal in every way, including aesthetically which I do find important as well as organization, etc. Edited to add, that's right, the front footwell! My husband and I used to have a 12 volt plug-in car cooler, very useful for camping and road trips. Awesome! I love it that she has a bugout bag too. I'm going to have to research the foldaway potty thing she mentioned, most interesting.
What a nice interview Linda with Melissa,she has a nice set up LOL Linda HAPPY HAVEN was packed with everything you needed to get to and you had lil space but everything was so organized neatly. My day and time is approaching when I can be like the rest of you NOMADS it's such a nice and peaceful experience anyone can imagine,be blessed Linda and take your time getting back to your cabin .

I see how she makes her coffee. She stays in one position , sitting on the bed and everything is in reach. Now that is being efficient and I am sure it took a few trial runs to get to that point. You certainly don"t want to be moving around especially when there is a pot on the burner coz one bad move could ruin your day. When I am boiling water all eyes are on the pot till it is finished. No distractions for me especially when there is an open flame in the van. It is good to be organized and I certainly , with each trip, fine tune where things are placed till it becomes second nature. Keys go here, my glasses go here when I am going to bed and so forth.We all have our mojo. Congrats on your build, you parents did great!

This is, by far one of the best vans I've seen.She kept it simple,with a powerful punch ✊👊 of MANY THINGS.Her van is like a museum, or a mansion with many twist& turns. She brought my cluttered brain down a notch or two. Three wise brains is better than one overworked brain(me)🥴.👌.Also nothing looks permanent. I don't usual copy,but why reck my brain any further. The great parents have a great daughter. It's not difficult to live and love one another and not be in conflict. There's so much mutual respect there. What mom and dad gave contributed for their travelling daughter is immense. You can see the thought and love that fills that van. Melissa, your travelling home on wheels is a dream.
