The list of all the shortcomings of this old bike compared to a modern bike is huge, but I'm used to them. To me, this old bike is the sound of fun and excitement, even if I have to wear ear plugs. It is also extremely low maintenance and just keeps on going. For those not familiar with California laws, since about '97 bikes must meet emissions requirements to be ridden year-round. Otherwise, they are restricted to winter-time. Bikes before '97 are exempt so can ride year-round.
