if you listen to kuraiinu often, he's actually been singing the entire series this song fits into! konoha is one of the view characters, and one of the saddest as well.. he was a companion to hibiya & hiyori ( the boy & girl from kagerou daze ) and he has to see it from an outside view.

Because I know there are a lot of lesser known songs in the KD project that might not be considered part of the "main" series (specifically Gunjou Rain(!) and Shounen Brave that I really really want to hear covered *fingers crossed*).

Not exactly. The project itself is looped back to the beginning at the end of each route, so yeah it is a big time loop, but there are only two songs (this one and Kagerou Daze) that are about this loop, they’re kind of like the same song with different points of view. I’d recommend watching David Toth/Bread Box’s videos if you want a full explanation of the project!

I’d say watching all the music videos first , then the anime, then either the manga or light novels. Breadbox also made a really good video about how to get into the project. Hope this helps

It's a part of a whole series of songs called Kagerou Project! This one is Kagerou Daze told from the perspective of Konoha!
