Record-Breaking Hike! | Liz Derstine on the 273 mile Long Trail | NEW FKT

For a little more than a year Liz Derstine has had a goal of setting a FKT (Fastest Known Time) on the 273 mile Long Trail in Vermont. 1 year and 3 attempts later she now holds the FKT for self-supported womens record. a little about me~ wife first, adventurer second! I have thru hiked the Appalachian Trail and John Muir Trail . I am the fastest woman to ever hike the Mountains-To-Sea Trail spanning the length of North Carolina. 1175 miles in 29 days! I am also the fastest person to ever hike the Benton MacKaye Trail. 288 miles in 4 days 21 hours and 25 minutes. I love running ultramarathons especially the 100 mile distance!
