For anyone taking TEAS or have nit taken Anatomy lessons, her videos are the best. Easy to understand and not too much unnecessary info

Your videos are a great tool for someone like me that will take the TEAS without having taken AP2. Thank you!

You are very welcome! Thank you for taking the time to let me know you find the videos helpful. Yeah, TEAS has a lot of AP 2 topics but it's nothing you can't conquer 🙂

Hi Professor Yu, thank you for the videos! I have a question, in this video glycogen is listed as a polysaccharide but in my notes from A&P it is listed as a oligosaccharide. Do you know which one Teas 7 will consider to be correct?

A very good question! I'd say that polysaccharide is more accurate for glycogen, since oligosaccharide typically consists 3-10 monosaccharides while glycogen has many more glucose units. That said, it is possible that their classification is based on the number of glucose in each of the short linear chain in the branched structure. I personally don't think ATI will get into the woods about whether it is a poly or oligo-saccharide. I'd say you should be fine as long as you know glycogen is a complex carbohydrate/polysaccharide made up of many glucose molecules. Let me know if you have further questions 🙂

how do you recommend studying ? I watch the videos and write down notes. Is there other ways to study ?

Good question! Be sure to practice a lot with practice questions. Often times, when you can see the information, everything is easier. So you think you know everything but when you see questions and don't have the information on the slides available, things are harder. You will need to get used to that. Another reason to do practice questions is that without practicing, you don't know if you truly understand a topic or are able to retrieve a piece of info from the brain. Getting a question wrong will be a great "warning" that you need to study a topic more. And don't just take notes for the sake of taking notes. Make sure you understand the notes you are taking. Hope this helps :-)
