Hi, I just wanted to give you a tip how to easier wash out the oil from your hair. Before shampoo try to emulsify the oil with hair conditioner, it will help to remove most of the oil and then shampoo will foam up better. I know you should not use conditioner on the scalp but you will use shampoo afterwords anyway and it really helps 😊 Love your approach to project pan, it should be fun and not a hardship. This year I’m trying something different than last year, I’m only going to focus on products that expire this year, everything else I will use organically. The number at the end of the year might not be high but at least I will keep my “collection” fresh and safe to use. Hopefully it goes well 😅
Wait, why are you not supposed to use conditioner on your scalp? Asking because my scalp around the hairline is sooo dried out and peeling. I’ve never heard of not using conditioner on the scalp.
I gave myself a big challenge with panning this year in that I want to clear out some older eye and lip products but I want to get some more use out of things before I do. I've picked a palette, a lipstick and a gloss to use per month so it stays interesting and I'll still see some good use from some things I've had kicking around for a long while. That being said the eyeshadow palette I picked for Jan, I seem to be allergic to, or it's already gone bad, it's not in a bad obvious reaction way but we're 2 weeks in and I'm definitely noticing my eyes get itchier and more irritated throughout the day when I wear it so I think it's going to have to go.
Hi, I am also moving soon to a different country.. Trying to finish small sample type products before I move as I think these take space... Love from India.
Ulta was all set to open stores in Canada then 2020 happened and that went right out the window. You would not believe the cost of shipping from the US to here it's ridiculous, honestly we are attached to them but we might as well be Siberia.
That’s so dumb I feel, I’m sorry it’s that way for you. I don’t get it either, US should be heavily aligned with Canada and Mexico considering we are neighbors. ❤
I’m doing a pretty cut throat project pan. I’m moving again over the summer things that are half empty or close to pan I want gone or I’m not moving them. Plus I have a list of items like 10 lip products. Sounds like a lot but 2 are lip liners that are almost gone and lip balms I could finish in a 2 weeks. I said 15 skincare products but after I looked at what was close to empty my new goal is those by June. Plus we are 2 weeks into Jan I already finished 2 skincare products. I think it’s double.
Almost everything is new to me! Would love to try the Chantecaille eye gels, but haven't been able to score a sample and they are too expensive to gamble on. But they seem to be popular, interesting to know if they compare to the tub gold masks.🙌 I have separate products for winter/summer because I go drier to oily. Now in winter I am cranking on face balms and dewy foundations. For makeup focusing on a stack of Trinny London pots, my next oldest cushion foundation, Tom Ford Glow stick, a depotted Lisa Eldridge blush, finishing Laura Mercier caviar stick, Mel Thompson lip liner that is sadly drying out, and Supershock cheek Out of Quartz, the one Kat panned.
I use laneige lip mask reilgiously (previously had such dried lips despite trying many other products) I use one of those big boys within 3 -4 months xD
I did an account of my makeup and want to use anything I have never used before now. Let go of some of the things I realistically will never use. And be more responsible with my spending. Also desperately need to do a cull on my lipsticks
I am trying to use up all my sheet masks because i have nearly as many as Kat 🙈 i also am trying to make sure all my products have some use so i am working thru my makeup with a usage goal of 50 uses anything that doesnt work is leaving amything i cant "force" myself to use 50 times is leaving also. Atm i am focusing on cream products
I started the CT Magic Away concealer for my project pan this year and I HATE the applicator. I hadn't thought about taking the sponge off which would fix one of the biggest problems I have with it, so I may try that. But my other main issue is how tight the lid is. Several times already I've had to use baby powder on my hands so I can get a strong enough grip to pull the cap off. The actual product is great but trying to get to it just leaves me angry. I can't wait to finish it and it's only been open a fortnight!
I'm not focusing much on makeup or skincare for panning and decluttering. For me it is nail products. I need to figure out some things and make the collection better for my nail art rather than current randomness I'm at right now.
I’m not doing project pan but I’m planning on not buying any new makeup this year (especially eyeshadow). I’ve got so much makeup that I’m starting to look like a makeup hoarder.
Not unless they smell bad or something changes about the formula. Just keep an eye out for any changes or if they start to irritate your skin or eyes, then it’s time to go xx
If you're applying them over eyeshadow they pick up little bits of powder and over time become clogged up. I clean mine on a piece of paper towel dampened with isopropyl alcohol, put the lid on firmly and stand upside down overnight. xx
Great video! I’m looking forward to follow your updates. I will start my full face Project pan this weekend.
Eye masks and face masks on Chris…..for the channel honey! 🤭✌️
Makeup looks amazing especially the base and eyes
I don't find skincare etc boring, it's more attainable so enjoy it 😊
The red necklace is back!
Definitely get some reusable coton pads for the micellair water, less waste.
I'm so excited for another year🎉. The hourglass trio looks gorgeous.

I'm gonna try your suggestions. I've never heard that big it sounds interesting
@@laikanbarthsome people find that it makes their hair greasier.
@@laikanbarthI use a rosemary based hair oil for 30min before I shampoo. It’ll make a massive difference! Highly recommend. I buy it at target
@@laikanbarthmost all conditioners say to apply mid length and down, to prevent oily roots I assume. Nobody wants flat hair on top…
I think im going to join in this project 😃 thanks for sharing beauty 😘
Love the update. Random but you look absolutely gorgeous this new year!!! You seem excited to start the new makeup year lol
Yay🎉!! You found the heart or is it a new one??❤❤❤
Your makeup looks stunning and youve sold me on the base products, adding those to my wishlist😂
I was literally putting on my ulta beauty eye primer as you started talking about it 😂 it’s so good! I couldn’t imagine doing makeup without it! 😢
I really need to work on my Lush shower gels. I have way too many and they just don’t seem to hold up over time. Good luck with your project! 💟

So excited for this years project pan!!😍

I moved from syd to Perth about 10 years ago - my skin was so dry in Perth and it still is so much better in humidity. Damn Perth and its dry heat!!!
Commenting just to show off my yellow badge 😊
Hahaha and a beautiful yellow badge it is!! Thank you so much for your continued support Nys, it means so much to me 😊 xxxx
I have found I enjoy using micellar water with makeup eraser cloths, maybe that would be a better alternative to cotton pads?

💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜 every year I say I should... every year I don't!
Also I need to watch your project pan videos this year to keep me on track for using stuff up, I've been so bad about that the past couple of years 😅
I do as you do with your face mists, but with everything!
wooooo 2024 lets goooo

Love your heart necklace and your eyeshadow is fantabulous with it❣️ What is that lovely sunset color on your moveable lid?

My goal is use 365 products whether is be a face mask, body lotion or eyeshadow. Also a no buy this year just to get use out of what I own.
Wow. Good luck with that. I managed just under 200 last year, but there was a lot of samples and single use masks in that.
I should do a project pan… I haven’t bought any new makeup in almost 2 years. I should just declutter everything at this point! 😅
Gorgeous eye look 🤍

Yeah the lid is difficult to get on and off!
Oh is that a new heart?💝

She is sooo much happier since she moved.
Hahaha I still have stress and drama here but also a lot to be happy about :) xx
@@HaileyO I'm happy for you. I just see a peace and a glow that wasn't there before moving. XO
My colorpop lip pencil in Beeper has done the same thing 🤦🏻♀️

Hailey, if my powder eyeshadow palettes are 5 years old, do I need to replace them?
Not unless they smell bad or something changes about the formula. Just keep an eye out for any changes or if they start to irritate your skin or eyes, then it’s time to go xx
@@HaileyO thank you 🙏
I wonder if I’m doing some wrong with my pen eyeliners, have got a few maybelline ones which all dry up so fast! In like

I'm not doing project pan, I'm just trying to use stuff more often. So far, not going so well.
Did you get your red heart from your Christmas cracker? I know you were looking for one for a while.
Yup I did! Chris’ mum had some old woolies ones from years ago and there was one in there 😊
