I live on sunny and warm St. Petersburg. Am an avgeek. The skies of Tampa Bay are always filled with planes! Always watch approaches going south over the bay into TPA. Love to see the left turn on final...the dog leg. During Christmas time the big jets are non-stop. There's a lot of air traffic given the number of airports. In December 2021 a B737 or A320 was approaching my home and it was very, very low. It was a bit nerve-wracking but it was controlled flight. Then walla! It flew between me & my neighbor's house. Must have been 1k feet above me I sort of wish I called TPA about it but didn't. Another time a Coast Guard prop plane C130 (?) Flew right over me.. I mean about 100 ft! ...I saluted! So Tampa Bay has Tampa International, Clearwater airport, McDill, Albert Whitted airport in St. Pete, Coast Guard and maybe another airstrip or two. Pilots are heroes! ❤️
Tampa can be tricky to land at during certain times of the year! I know I live in the Tampa bay area! The lightning is more than just a hockey team, it strikes here more than anywhere on the planet if I’m not mistaken!

This is literally my dream jet, I'd rather fly the Challenger over a Gulfstream any day. There is just something about the design and layout of the Challenger that hits different. I see Flexjet Challengers occasionally at my home airport and it just lights a fire under me to work hard. I'm a 600 hour CFI, a Challenger First Officer job is definitely what I'm aiming towards. Thanks for giving a first person POV of my dream job!

I think I just saw my house! haha, well, its somewhere down there! Thanks for the ride, this is great. I grew up in Clearwater and my Dad was a GA PP. I always looked out the window and learned from a young age how to figure out where I was. Of course, back then it was easier (giving away my age!) to tell since the major roadways were easy to spot between the orange groves, pastures and of course the bay and beaches. When I work from home I always have flight aware up for KTPA , and Tampa ATC . I get a fair amount of air traffic flying over, so when I hear one close, I jump and run out to the backyard and see "who" it is! My brother went on to become commercial pilot and he flew cargo and recently retired from Kalitta. I keep telling him to get his CFI and teach his lil sis to fly. So far, he's enjoying retirement, but I bet he'll get the itch to fly again. Thanks for the great vid!

Reason is to have a 3rd generator online and to move the bleeds to the apt so you have more thrust available and protect the pack during take off and landings
