Can you imagine having a forest as your backyard? One day I'll escape this dystopian hell we call it the modern world, and find a little quiet corner of the world where I'll spend the rest of my days like this away from the noise.
Don't give up on your aspirations or dilute them with someone else's. Late last year I wanted to move into a rural place to run away from it all, but instead got a house with a wonderful small mature backyard garden that is my private sanctuary in the city. I feel at peace (and less commuting for everyone, so everyone can keep going to their job and schools in the city...)

What I am thinking about something very specific, if I did achieve that picture in my mind, that will be the time when I will consider getting away from it all. Otherwise, there is no point of doing it for the sake of getting away and have to settle for something mediocre. If I did achieve it what I have in mind, I will spend the better part of the year there while still able to visit family and travel to see the world and enjoy life. However, the whole point was and still, while doing that, the thought of that place in the back of my mind would make me at peace knowing there is a land that I own in a safe, serene, and beautiful place where I ache to be.
