I fitted my new gears today. Please remember to cut a notch on the half gear for the magnetic sensor before rivetting. Now the check engine (MIL) and the glow plug lights are gone, the turbo is also back. Thanks a lot Fero.

Hey..what are the simptoms for this on 3.0 tdi engine? Without check engine light? What are the job of this on diesel like that?
according my observation, you will not feel anything different when this valve is broken. When gears are broken, the valve is full opened (of course, the engine light is still on). I guess that ECU needs (based on load, rpm ..) sometime probably to control amount of incoming air (if it is just because of emissions - I do not know). Anyway, I drove some time with this throttle broken..no problem to drive..
You will feel rough engine stop. This valve is also for safety reason to stop the engine in emergency ...
@@PolarisProx440 I can confirm what Peter is saying here. I have this problem aswell with the engine light on. The only noticable problem is that the engine shakes when you turn off the car. Audi A6 3.0 Tdi 2006
