6 years ago I found this song and forgot about it, until shortly after when I heard it start playing in the title scene for a chapter of Life Is Strange. It was skippable, but I listened to the whole thing until I forgot I was playing a game. Years later and I'm still loving this song.
This song makes me feel present and seemingly okay, which is something I haven’t been in forever. Also reminds me of an important time in my life. Love this song

I turned 20 this month and I hate it. I know its life, but that's the problem. I don't want this to be life. I don't want this to be it. I was 13 when i first discovered Life is strange and it has been my favorite game ever since. I don't know if it's the nostalgic music or the story or the characters but every time i think about life is strange I get this feeling in my chest or in my body. Like a wish in me. I wish my life could be strange. I wish I was interesting. I wish I had a cool superpower and an awesome side kick best friend. i wish I had a best friend. Wish I could wake up and save someone. Wish someone could save me. And I just can't believe that this is life. Weed and loneliness and good music. I wasted my youth and I'm probably going to waste the rest of my life and I wish it was different. If anyone ever reads this, I really really really really hope that you get everything you want in this life and I hope everything looks up for you. Because what I realized is it's not me that's inept, it's the world that's inept but embracing your individuality instead of wallowing over your differences is what you have to do. you have everything in you, so stop trying to fit everyone else's paradigm and start creating your own you haven't wasted your youth, teenage years you are meant to depressed and you are meant to not know who you are or your place in the world, for whatever reason our culture in movies/tv glorifies teenage years it's all bullshit your life's just starting now, do something wild my man.
