Statewide Trout limits are 5 per person with further restrictions on types of bait and in certain places like Jocassee, it's only 3 per person. Would be curious to know where you are in SC that allows 6.

Just an fyi, you can buy an adapter hose for your gas buddy to be able to run full size propane bottles on it.

The broken tent pole sucks to hear! Im running things in my head to maybe fix it. Best way maybe at least that I can think of is rubber hose so it still flexes some. Maybe slice the hose so you can put it on that section. Then some good wide zip ties really tight. But wont slide in loops easy. I have no idea but I would try it personally. Be cool and maybe they do to just get a replacement pole!

I have the same heater... get the hose that hooks up to a 20 gal tank. You'll get 100+ hours per tank if running the heater on low (about 50 hours on high) and save $ on propane. It's a game changer if you're doing a lot of cold weather camping. No more waking up freezing your nuts off!
Just make sure if you use the hose to a 20 pounder, you use a filter ( like 10$ ), otherwise you'll wreck the unit. You can also get an adapter to fill those little cylinders from a 20 pounder, save lots of $. Where I live a 20 pound tank costs 15 $ to fill. The cylinders cost 5-6$ if you buy them, .75cents if you fill them yourself
@@bradcondon6632 Forgot to mention that. And thanks for pointing out that it's a 20 lb tank (about 5 gal), not a 20 gal tank. So you'd get around 25 hours on low. Obviously I haven't used mine that much...

There is a huge difference from the skin of the fish, the scales, the meat. All meat is different in fish. Talking about fresh water to salt water fish. Which one would be your favorite?

Hello my name is Jason and I see that you have no problem with your Mr buddy heater now my question to you is, I have the same Mr buddy heater and I buy the same propane as you but mine will lite and stay lit for about 20 minutes and turn it self off do you have the same problem with yours? Its definitely unheard-of for it to be colder in South Carolina than it is in northern New York at any given time and im talkin Canadien border north not Albany lololol some people will just never understand lol i can practically see the st. Lawrence River 😅

you should eat the fish bones< they are packed full of nutrients your body needs, people in japan always eat fish bones, just cook them up on direct fire till crisp & eat like chip, also you can make soup stock from fish heads, try it it will give you alot of energy
I don't know if it's just me but you're wasting more meat than you need to when cooking a trout you can keep the belly there and just pull the pin bones out no problem specially if you're out trying to gather food you know what I mean don't waste anything how to guess if you're trying to be picky and don't want no bones just throw half the fish away like you're doing that's something I would never do
