Tommy, Thank you for sharing this, You sound amazing with these two legends. I am looking forward to your 2024 album release and really enjoy your music, you rock.
Hi Tommy ,viewed the firefest gig with u Jimi n the guys and have to be honest ,Jimi sounded the best ever with u guys, u were all complimenting each other greatly ,your playing Bud is just out this world, if anyone asks me who r my favourite guitarist and it would be Steve Lukather n Tommy Denander ! your mind blowing pal, deserve every penny + whole lot more for your achievements to date ,i play in a band and can appreciate talent when i see it ,well done Tommy bringing your creative n playing talents to us all ! keep up the great work. Every musician should be honoured to be in the same space as you ,hope i can see you play in the uk sometime ,onwards n upwards for the future.
I reply all the time Jimi sounded better and happier when playing with you. When people mention Frankie Sullivan I say he is not fit to carry your guitar case meaning Frankie thinks he is the greatest guitarist and he is not but you are the greatest guitarist. Also I mean in the sense of how Frankie treated Jimi Jim Peterik the founder of Survivor including the lawsuits and you seem like a really great person who cares about people especially Jimi
You are completely wrong! Until his very last days of singing his voice was amazing....but many years ago he started to lose his hearing...and it got VERY VERY bad during the last years. He has implants in both ears to raise the volume 50db which is a lot and he still needed in ear monitors VERY loud AND monitors on the floor even louder. When Bobby sat by a piano alone he sang perfect with the same old voice...because he could hear and feel the notes.
@@TDenander Then why was he drinking so much much water on stage? I saw Toto in concert twice in the'80s and he never sounded as good as he did then, (from watching TH-cam videos) and he never had a water bottle in his hand.
@@bigelile07 Bobby is over 75 now and far into his 60's he sounded amazing...but it is impossible to keep any voice of that range in the shape it was 30, 40 or 50 years ago! When we worked in the studio, rehearsed or just jammed for an hour or so he never drank water so I always took it as a nervous tick he started with in his later years for some reason
Hi Tommy, ! Was watching a youtube interview with Sammy Hagar were he expressed a Eddie van halen tribute concert which appears to be long awaited ,he expressed in that video that it doesn't appear likely as Alex Van Halen isn't responding to the messages Sammy as sent to him regarding this tribute concert putting all differences aside ! no response ,Michael Anthony appears to be up for it n Sammy ! cant think of a better person n guitarist than yourself to position into Eddies spot and maybe Jason Bonham on drums ,perhaps a handful of concerts on a small tour ! you were close to Eddie and your story with the guys at van halen speaks for itself the band liked you alot ! think it would be great or am i wishful thinking ,hope the concert will happen soon as the foo fighters played a concert for taylor hawkins ! All the best anyway.
Miss my guys. Most talented vocalists ever❤❤❤❤

Such a shame that Bobby didn't take care of his voice. In the '80s, he voice was absolutely incredible.
