    Would I EVER like to be able to venture into a WW2 German Bunker like that one. What a well designed and laid out bunker. I think the technology was advanced for that era. Couldn't believe that the air ventilation was still running. The Danish or Norwegian government/authorities looking after it and maintaining it are doing an excellent job of keeping it in it's original state. It had everything needed to keep the soldiers as comfortable as possible - Pissoirs, Waschbecken, Duschen, comfortable bunkers, personal work areas, dining areas, etc. It sure did look pretty fancy, Thanks for the pics of the German soldiers as it puts a personal spin on war for all sides involved. Was the armoured train called a BP-42 or BP-44? What a well run and effective system. It was incredible HH. Thanks so much for sharing.

    They have done a good job of preserving this bunker. The ram rod for loading the cannon looked like in the picture they used two of them with a strap between them to pull the shell into the cannon. We’re they the original WW2 soldiers in the bunk room lol? I enjoyed seeing the trolley for transporting the munitions. They used a lot of different shells for firing. So not all bunks had hangers from the ceiling. I enjoyed seeing the original papers with instructions on the wall.

      Soldiers are long gone and love to be there. Thanks my friend.

  • @anthonyroberts7718
    @anthonyroberts7718 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I wonder if the ram rod for loading the gun was also used for cleaning the barrel and that’s why it’s so long? I really enjoyed seeing the little train engine and the Trolleys they used to transport munitions. Did you use the toilets so you can say you used a German WW2 toilet lol? Even though there was a war going on they had pretty good living conditions. Very nice to see a complete filter with everything attached. Did you notice if in the display with the soldiers sitting around,did they have any game pieces on the table? Scream ALARM at the boss who is sleeping and see if he jumps up lol. This is an amazing location. If viewers of your videos may attention in this gun bunker, they can get a better idea of what your talking about when you go into abandoned locations and talk about the different items that would be in them. Very educational video.

    What a phenomenal German bunker. Great to see some of the original German writing on the walls. That bunker was well designed and extremely well built. Never ceases to amaze me as to how advanced the German military were. The WW2 artifacts looked well maintained and cared for in the museum. Thank you for the pictures and diagrams. The pictures of the German soldiers remind us that they were just ordinary men fighting for what they believed in, at that time. Thank you for taking us there HH.

    Thanks again for the History lesson Mr. HistoryHunter. The thing that amazes me is the amount of raw materials that Hitler and his henchmen got together in such a small country as Germany and made all of the concrete, guns, tanks, etc... It is just amazing. Where did it all come from? I noticed that the museum did not have a Mauser K43 (Hitler's Garand) on display. I bought a K43 about 20 years ago and I really didn't know what I had so I sold it and got my money back. I looked Mauser K43 up on the internet when it finally became available to us and discovered that the K43 was/is a collectors item and some worth up to $10,000 according to one website. Thank you again for the History lesson and take care. Chevy/Gordon

    It's pretty cool to see what they originally looked like. That place is a real gem. I always thought that they had to rough it in the bunkers but it's really comfortable.

    Call me crazy but I would love to have one of those rounds to put in the corner of my reloading room where I reload my ammunition.

    THIS IS IMMACULATE. Is this the one that is fully operational? 'Barbara'? There is a video on here somewhere or it may be in Norway. They load in a blank charge so just the powder bags and detonater and fire. 'FEUER!!!!' BOOOOOOOOM. Or similar in Norweigian I suppose? OHHH NOOOO THEY HAVE SMASHED THE GUN - ITS GONE😭 6:15 does that mean 'be so kind to keep the basin clean?' 6:48 yaaay its Heini, Rolf und Deiter!! It is such a credit to them for keeping this like original such a shame they dont have the working kanone though to complete it. Even that air fan sounds genuine! Its actually quite comfortable in those bright colours with the imitation wood painted in the corridors that you have show us before. I woud LIVE in here happily underground. But have my own solar power so no pollution and a compost toilet! I would like to go out and restore all the big Regelbau you found that are sad and tatty, many people without homes would be grateful for a roof over them.
    You are not German but speak and understand it perfectly?👍👏👏👏 Danke Schoen !
